Solidly built, X-design VESA mount so that it is widely compatible. The hinge is all metal so you don't ever really worry about it failing...if anything, what it stands on may buckle first! Some light stands are meant for low weight loads, not a whole 15+lb monitor mount system like this. Wide viewing angle mobility, aided by the ample length from the hinge of this mount. Definitely liking how simple the Quick Release is, just push the tab and the monitor is ready to be pulled and replaced with something else.

This mount holds any monitor but the screws that came with it are a bit long for my ultra thin monitors from when I had my external laptop monitors. So I would need to use the screws that came with my external monitor vs the ones that came with it. They mount to any baby pin or cstand or light stand that has that pin. The part where you tilt the head is held by the teeth which is tiny. Overall its nice to have to use to hold up the monitors on any stand. It is held up sturdy.

I needed a mount for a monitor for on location photoshoots, and this works great! It's super easy to mount on the back of a monitor, and the simple clip on adapter is easy to use, even with a large monitor. It holds super well, and it holds stable. Make sure your stand has a sand bag, or place it over the large leg of a c-stand for balance.

This product was clearly created for the studio in mind. You can throw any vesa-mount monitors on the mount and mount it on any light stands. I happen to have several desk-mounted light stand mounts that worked perfectly for this, and can utilize the monitor to monitor my video recording and playbacks. But really, what makes it awesome is that you can unmount it quickly from one stand and mount it on another stand within seconds. It's stupid convenient, and is also pretty heavy duty.
