  • Great
Perfect for keeping the black water line in place. Filled with sand ($5.00 from Home Depot) and seals great.

  • Awesome
I used these for weights on a backdrop stand and they are awesome. I filled a zip lock bag with gravel and put it inside the weight bag. Worked out wonderfully. Sturdy and good, strong material.

  • Work great. Durable. I used marbles instead of sand.
Most of the reviews I read stated that these sandbags don't actually seal tight enough for them to be filled with sand. So I skipped the sand and used "decorative" flat marbles. You know, the kind that go into potted plants, vases and aquariums. They are still heavy enough, are able to form around things to create a solid base hold and aren't messy. Maybe not as cheap as sand but I went to the dollar store and bought several bags. I spent $6 on enough of the flat marbles to fill both bags. Not too shabby. No extra plastic bags or sealing necessary. Note: I'm not using these on a film set. If you want to use them on a film set and think you may have to move them quietly during takes or something then I'd stick to sand. The marbles do make a bit more noise than sand. The noise is only noticeable while actually moving the bags. ... show more

  • Budget bag that holds sand fine
These are the third brand of similar sandbags I have purchased on amazon. The other sand bags had two zippers per pouch, an inner and an outer. Both were mandatory because the zippers are terrible and at least one of them broke on all of my bags. These only have one zipper and I am so scared that it will break and be ruined. So, I put my sand in and I'm never going to open it again. I use these on light stands and do not transport them or move them so I doubt I will see any of the leaking issues that at least one other reviewer reported. Besides the fear of the zipper breaking, I am pretty happy with these. I've always put the sand in ziploc bags and I would recommend that you do the same. ... show more

  • convenient
they pack easily, and by using 1 gal zip-lock freezer bags filled with water they conform to what ever you lay them over. Also just dump the water out and repack as before.

  • Perfect for weighting RV sewer hose
I bought this to use as a weight for an RV sewer hose. Works perfect, so much better than using rocks.

  • Good purchase
this two pack of sand bags securely held my lighting and my camera tripods while I shot outside. I was so worried about them falling over if the wind swept by but with this filled with sand, they made the perfect counter balances. they laid right over the legs and are so easy to carry with the thick grip handle ... show more
