Functionality: This selfie stick / tripod works better than expected and has a lot of versatility. Works as a selfie stick or tripod, has a light, has a remote, and has a lot of decent adjustability. At full extension in tripod mode, you need to be careful on the stability. But this should be expected. It is stable enough in most situations. The remote works well for triggering pictures. Got some nice family Christmas pictures together, thanks to the tripod and the remote. Quality: Perfectly good quality. Seems to be built well, I haven’t been afraid of any part of it breaking. The remote has worked well so far. Value: At ~$27, for what you get with this, I think that is a pretty good value. The remote, light, and tripod alone is worth that. Works as intended! It holds a phone only in landscape mode, not vertical. The way the listing described this it stated the phone could be used vertically. I cannot. Otherwise this is a very nice handheld selfie stick which can easily turn into a tripod. The only wah I could manage to make this work in vertical mode is if I record top-down onto a desk, like a top-down view of journaling, cards, drawing, etc. The LED light works great. It's bright and has several levels of color and brightness. I'm happy with it but can't use it for my intended purpose. It is a good value for the money, and is compatible with iPhone and Android. I tested the bluetooth remote with my iPhone 16e and it worked exactly as described. The tripod legs lock out which helps prevent the legs from folding back up and tipping over.

Ordered this to bring with me on an upcoming trip where I will need to shoot quite a few photos/videos in spots where a selfie stick would be very handy. Since I have had such great experiences with Neewer products, choosing this offering from them was a no brainer - but I did set high expectations for it. I'm very glad to say that this definitely exceeded any expectation I set for it. It's a pretty terrific selfie stick/portable tripod! It's kind of funny that this is noted in the description (and also on the product box) that this is an "Entry Level Version" but trust me, there is NOTHING entry level about this thing at all - it is ALL professional - and I mean that in the best way possible! It has pretty much everything you need to shoot both stunning video and photos with a nice, stable, easy to use base. This selfie stick is not small - but that's a good thing - this thing is sturdy and strong - worth having it be bigger for sure. It retracts into just the handle - which is very comfortable to hold even for a longer period of time. The tripod feet pull out easily and stay in play very well - with a bottom stabilizer that helps this keep steady even on carpeting. The top holder accommodates even a larger phone like the Pro Max series, it stays in place securely, and it it comes with a top mount for a small light (included) that makes this an "all in one" selfie stick and portable tripod. This light works really well and comes fully charged and ready to go, and it comes with a cord as well. Despite this being a bit larger than the typical selfie stick , this is surprisingly light and very easy to throw into a backpack or suitcase. It extends all the way to 67" which is a great range too - making it super useful in just about any situation. There is an embedded remote as well that connects via Bluetooth to any phone easily. It is easy to charge, but it honestly doesn't need to be charged very often at all, which is terrific. Overall, this is a great selfie stick/portable tripod - super easy to use, very stable and sturdy, and extremely versatile. This makes it pretty much the only device of this type that you could possibly need. I can't recommend this enough - it's fantastic and my new favorite piece of travel filming gear!

This NEEWER Selfie Stick Tripod, unfortunately, will not hold my Motorola phone in it's Otter Box case. I should have checked the sizing photo in the listing. It shows a maximum width of 3.3 inches (8.5 cm). My phone/case is just beyond that, so do check the sizing before ordering. One other downside is the 'stick' part is pretty thick and almost more than my smaller hands can manage. I wouldn't be able to hold it at arms length for very long. Otherwise, it feels sturdy, well made, instructions were helpful. Certainly a reasonable price. Love the Bluetooth remote feature.

I love this, it makes content creation so much easier, I can bring it with me and just throw it in my purse. It's not too heavy, but it's also not flimsy. I love that it has a light attached to it! The heighth is perfect for table tops. The heighth is adjustable, you can make it shorter or taller, but like I said, this is more of a tabletop tripod. I brought it with me to the gym and I was making content, and someone asked me where I got it and said that it was really nice.

In my experience, Neewer always makes very good tripods that are sturdy, and this simple selfie stick tripod is great for quick, on-the-go uses with your phone. One of the things I like about this product over other ones is that it's a combination of a selfie stick and a tripod in one. Most of these products are either one or the other. As for portability, which is a huge concern with this type of product, it's not heavy and is easy to throw in a bag and take with you. The camera hold, holds the phone firmly without putting undue pressure on your cellphone. Admittedly, I have a case on my phone, so I'm less concerned with this than someone may be who doesn't use a cell phone case. As for the tripod, it's sturdy. In fact, given the size of the tripod, it's more sturdy than I would have expected it to be. Overall, this is a great product that will help you film yourself or take pictures on the go. Also, I loved that it comes with an adjustable light, which is another feature I haven't seen on many selfie-sticks, so you can always ensure you're put in the best light possible.

As an "Entry-Level" tripod, this unit offers fantastic value by providing excellent stability, significant height, and a high-quality light system for a very competitive price. It excels at the basics, but buyers should be aware of the functional compromises made to keep the cost low. Key Strengths (High Value for the Price) * Exceptional Stability (When Set): The unit is surprisingly stable even when fully extended to 67 inches, holding the phone securely on uneven surfaces. The height and stability are excellent for stationary shooting. * Solid Build Quality (Portability): When collapsed, the tripod feels solid and robust. This provides confidence that it will easily withstand being carried during travel without fear of damage. * High-Quality, Rechargeable LED Light: The built-in light provides a very noticeable difference in low-light environments. It features three color temperatures and two brightness levels, and the light is conveniently rechargeable. * Reliable Remote: The Bluetooth remote was easy to pair and has been completely reliable; it has not disconnected. It works perfectly for capturing photos. Design Compromises (What You Give Up for the Low Price) These limitations are consistent with an entry-level design, but are important to note: * Requires Case Removal: The rubberized grips on the phone clamp do not accommodate thick phone cases. You will likely have to remove your phone case every time you use the tripod. * NO Leg Locking Mechanism: The legs of the tripod do not lock into the open position. If you try to move the stand, the legs will easily collapse, forcing you to reset the stance. * Limited Horizontal Adjustment: The phone mount/head does not swivel 360 degrees horizontally (left/right). Adjusting the angle requires physically moving the entire stand. * Missing Video Pause: The remote does not include a pause function when recording video. You must stop and start a new clip, leading to extra work in editing. Value Assessment For the price, the stability, height, and light quality make this an excellent choice for a beginner or a user who needs a good, stationary stand. Great selfie stick! Crazy long extension. Blue tooth remote. Light with multiple modes and that is chargeable. Tripod with rubber feet to prevent sliding and scratching…do wish tripod would lock into place. Holds phone securely. See video for more highlights! Overall, TERRIFIC value for the price!!
