I bought this to live stream with my Sony a6500. It works really well, except that sometimes the battery is just a LITTLE loose and it resets all of the date information on my camera. Not every time, but sometimes. Otherwise, this is the only way to have the camera rolling for hours at a time. I wouldn't use it for actual shootings just in cases because you can corrupt your entire video shoot. But for something where I'm not recording in body, this is great. ... show more

I purchased two of these to help with keeping an a6500 & a6300 cool during long video shoots. When testing with the a6500, I managed over an hour of 4k video. Additionally, these are each powered by an Anker battery pack.

Not much to say here. This just does what it's supposed to do, which is nice. It's a replacement for the battery that lets you plug your Sony camera into wall power or a portable battery bank.
