I use this for my eBay items. It does come folded, so steaming is needed. If you do not want to steam, I suggest misting with a spray bottle and toss in the dryer, or let dry hanging up. This will soften the creases, but may not remove all the way. This muslin is a lot different than muslin I have bought int he past. If your a mom, you are probably thinking of the thin muslin used to swaddle your baby.... This is not like that at all.... It’s a thick muslin and almost resembles a polyester...kind of silky even to the touch. The edges are finished so no fraying, and the top has an insert for your pole. I usually keep mine up all the time b/c I only use white and to keep it clean, I just fold the bottom up to the top of my backdrop stand and pin use clamps to hold it off the ground. This is exactly what I was looking for. Of course, it’s going to be crinkled and wrinkled. I sprayed it with a little water, tossed it in the dryer for about 30 minutes and hung it up to flatten out while still warm. It didn’t get ALL of the creases out, but honestly you can’t even see them in any of the photographs from the session I did of myself. I’ve been a photographer for about 10 years, and I’ve just recently started dabbling in indoor sessions with lighting and backdrops. I wanted to go cheap while I was in the process of learning so I ordered a black & grey backdrop. This did not disappoint me at all and I am so pleased with how well my session turned out! I purchased the 6x9' black background a while back for my home studio, as well as the 10x20' white backdrop for product photography at work. The black is excellent and wrinkles don't really matter, so I never bother messing with them. I have it setup in front of a Eastern-facing window (lots of sun in the morning) and have had no issues with sunlight in my shots. The white worked great, though I would get some 4x8' white tile board to use for your flooring if doing product photography (otherwise, you do get a lot of wrinkles on the floor, but as you can see in the attached photo, they're easily edited out in Lightroom). For the vertical portion of the seamless backdrop, though, a handheld steamer took care of the wrinkles in a few minutes. None of them ended up in my final shots, and the ones on the floor are easily edited out (or fixed w/ the tile board). The white has a nice sheer side and a duller side. I accidentally put the duller side toward camera, and the photos came out just fine. Would definitely buy both again, though I wish they had a 8x16', since 10x20' is a BIG backdrop (but it what exactly we needed for the project I was shooting).

I was reluctant to order this because other reviewers said it was like a bed sheet... Um no. Thankfully it's not. It doesn't stretch, and it's pretty heavy. It has a slightly shinier side, and a dull side. I bought a 10 ft ¾ inch electrical pipe for $7 at home Depot and used that to hang it up in front of my large living room window. I had to put my curtains behind it to block the light, but it worked wonderfully for my shoot. I am extremely happy with my purchase, but I can see how others might be disappointed with it if they have no choice but to hang it in front of a light or window that would illuminate behind it. The light will come through a bit. So cover your window.

Okay so I bought this because it had the floor part 2 it first of all no matter what backdrop you have you're still going to need to do some photo edits I noticed some people on here are not doing their photo edits and it's driving me insane and I really want to edit it for them to change the lighting because if you up the lighting and stuff it really does make a difference and make a lot of the wrinkles and the sheet look go away. But I do want to say that this is pretty thin so it's going to be noticeable if you have a dark background behind the sheet because it's kind of see through. I have another way back drop and this does not happen but it's not as long I needed something that had a floor to it and it oh, so yes it does work with the right video and photo edits which both of the time you could do for free these days. And with the right lighting of course. Feel like I'm not totally unhappy with it but I do feel like I should be a bit cheaper just because simply that this really is just a sheet material. That video review on here had me cracking up where the woman was like "umm... Its just a sheet" LOL of course I saw that video review after I already purchased. But she wasn't wrong. LOL I hate giving negative reviews but it's the truth there's better out there

I used two of these to photograph group and individual pictures for my dance studio! They are not wrinkle free, but our use of lighting masked the wrinkles. At first glance, they look a little sheer, but it is not noticeable at all in the pictures! I used to buy paper backdrops, but I love that I can wash these and use them over and over again! I would definitely purchase again.
