I regretfully didn't take any photos of this mattress when I initially took it out of the packaging. However, rest assured, the mattress looks just like what is in the product photos. This is truly a foam mattress - it is not a spring/foam hybrid. As such, that is why it is the price it is. Yes, you might find a "foam" mattress for less, but it likely is foam laid over a sparse spring core. This is medium-dense memory foam. My teenage daughter was excited to get this because her old mattress was hard and showing its age. After removing the mattress from the bag, it was ready to sleep on within just a few hours - it really didn't look like it would expand any more, based on the foam completely filling out the fabric liner. Comfort-wise, this is a nice mattress, according to my daughter. There isn't much to say other than she really enjoys how much more it conforms to her compared to her old, firm spring mattress. Having a machine-washable cover is great. With a foam mattress, it really is necessary to be able to somehow clean the cover without getting the foam wet. The cover is able to be unzipped at the center for removal and replacing it is relatively easy, but may require a couple people to line things up right. This is a review for the Nectar kids 8 inch 2-sided twin mattress (ASIN: B0DP5G2NSL). The price was $242.50 on sale when I ordered it. I wanted a twin mattress to have on hand for overnight guests of different shapes and sizes that would be comfortable and could be compressed back down and rolled up for easy storage. I saw this Nectar kids foam mattress with different firmness levels on each side that looked like it would fit the bill and decided to give it a try even though it was a bit pricier than I wanted to pay. Glad I did. This is a great mattress. It is comfortable both for kids and large adults. I love the different firmness levels on each side, and the fact that the cover can be removed and machine washed. Since it’s not a hybrid mattress with coils, it also checks the box of being able to compress flat again for easy storage. The 8 inch height is great. This thing beats the pants off of a top of the line air mattress, which we also have but hate using. It expanded quickly to full size after removing from the packaging and didn't have an overpowering chemical smell like some memory foam mattresses do. Really pleased with this purchase. ... show more

We grabbed this from Vine for our 10 year old. She swims and works really hard, and was sleeping on a crumby spring twin bed. I figured this would help her get a better night rest. We are on Night 6 and she absolutely adores this mattress. After the first night, she couldn't wait to tell us how much she loved her new mattress. She said it is so comfortable. She falls asleep faster and sleeps more soundly throughout the night compared to her old mattress. Don't hesitate! Get your kids a great mattress at a super fair price. Item comes rolled up in a nicely marked box. It takes a little effort to get the plastic off, but it unrolls and inflates nicely. Unfortunately, the chemical smell is a bit overwhelming, so good circulation is needed. It has been a week since we opened it and I can still smell it. This is a true memory foam mattress. I love that it is two sided, with different types of firmness. It is very comfortable on both sides, but I prefer the firm side. While this is marketed towards kids, due to size, it's definitely not just for kids. I love that the cover can be removed by unzipping it.. It appears to be a quality zipper. It feels cool and comfortable, especially suitable for those who are prone to heat. And the child's cover is washable, which is super convenient to clean. Parents no longer have to worry about their children making the bed dirty. I appreciate its clear fiberglass design, which is safer and more environmentally friendly and more accustomed to the health of children. However, there are some small places that can be improved. For example, there will be a little smell when it is just opened, and it needs to be ventilated for one or two days. I got this mattress to replace my old one at home. Once it fully expands from packaging, the mattress fits my bed frame perfectly. Super easy to open and set up, it takes about a few hours to fully be ready to use. The support of this mattress is amazing, very soft and comfortable. The bed is firm enough to provide support but also has a very nice softness to it. I was worried that my little boy wouldn’t get used to this new mattress and can’t sleep. I want another one of these mattresses! I have two kids- 1 and 6 and I love that this mattress can grow with them. Firmer on one side for while they're still little and softer on the other side should they want that when they're a little older. It takes some time to unroll and unfold and it smells like chemicals when you do so make sure to have good ventilation and maybe don't sleep on it right away.
