This is very well made and heavy. The mattress is a bit firmer than we expected. We purchased a mattress topper with some "fluff" and that little extra cushion seems to have helped so far. We have only had the mattress 30 days so I will update this after we sleep on it with the topper.

It was ready to sleep on almost after 6 hours but I waited 24. Ive had it 1.5 months only but I really LOVE it and love to crawl into bed at night. Not too firm but not too soft. So cozy.

The mattress is fully expanded in 5 hrs. It is a great compromise between soft and firm. The memory foam is comfy and balances out the springs. Best mattress I've ever purchased.

Amazing, literal back pain reliever!

More "Firm" than "Medium Firm"

First, let me say that this mattress was not the worst thing I've ever slept upon, but it definitely hasn't been my favorite. In hindsight, I definitely should have tested this mattress out in a Mattress Firm or something before deciding to go the Amazon route. Don't gamble with your sleep quality, p
eople! Try before you buy- every single time! Amazon did a FANTASTIC job with an on-time delivery and rolled it straight into my apartment. The delivery guy was very friendly and happy to help. The unboxing was fun and the mattress was completely inflated almost completely to size within, I'd say, eight hours or so. I slept on it that first night no problem. However, the more the mattress expanded over the next day, the more I found that it wasn't actually the best fit for me. I chose this mattress because it was labeled as "medium-firm," however, it proved to be very firm. I'm a stomach/side sleeper, and this caused a lot of stress for my neck and back. I figured as I slept upon it, it would ease up and become more comfortable, but that hasn't proven to be the case. Amazon has been wonderful to work with in the days since and I'm very grateful for all their help trying to figure out what I can do. However, take it from me....always try before you buy! I'm now on the hunt for something softer and more comfortable for my sleep position. TLDR: VERY firm mattress. Back sleepers: this is for you! Side/Stomach sleepers: You probably want to keep looking. Amazon was amazing to work with- thank you again!!

I purchased this mattress after reading SO many reviews and information on how hybrid mattresses are a mix of firm, cool and soft from the memory foam layer on top. This mattress felt like it was full memory foam! Hard to get out of because you are sucked into it. It is SO hot because you are sucked
into it. I am a back sleeper and my husband a stomach sleeper - he's been sleeping in the spare room on the old mattress we were trying to replace, ever since his first morning of waking up sucked into this bed. If you like a soft mattress that will suck you in and make you sweat away calories all night- this is the one for you! I personally have had back pain every morning after sleeping on this thing. Don't try to sit on the edge because you will slip right off. It said wait 30 days to give it a chance before you attempt to return it. I've been waiting and waiting and nothing has changed! I went online and initiated the return. HAHA it says put it back in the original box. Are you kidding me? I ordered the CA King! Regardless of what size you get, it comes compressed and rolled up in a box. It takes 72 hours to fully decompress. There is no way I'm getting that back in the box, even if I still had it. UPS comes to pick it up once you've reboxed it. He looked at me and laughed. He said, good luck with that, I cannot pick up a mattress that has no packaging on it. I chatted online with Amazon and within 6 minutes, I was told that I would get a full refund in 3-5 days and that as a one time exception I did not need to return the mattress. Well that would great if it was a diamond ring or something else that cost $1,100 that I could actually regift or store in the house. What am I going to do with this CA KING mattress? I'm going to have to pay someone to come haul it away. Nobody will accept mattresses as donations anymore; Salvation Army, Goodwill ... nobody. Living CA I could just dump it on the road and someone would haul it into their house to sleep on, except it's too big to fit into a tent, even with the 2 and 3 room tents they have here all over the streets. Whoops, wrong platform. Great money back return policy. That gets 5+ stars!!!
