Description

Built for creators, worship, sports, and live events. Capture field action and key moments with 10X optical zoom, wireless connection, scoreboard display, and cloud storage support. Auto-switch between speakers with VM33 cameras, wireless audio, and app-controlled live production. "As a church volunteer, I wanted a camera that was easy to set up and simple to use every week. The VM33 has been really helpful for livestreaming our services, especially when we need a clear view of the stage from farther back in the sanctuary. The zoom has made a big difference, and it’s helped us keep our setup more manageable without turning Sunday morning into a full production.” — Sarah T., Church Volunteer "As a baseball parent, I wanted something simple that could keep up with outdoor games. The VM33 has been great for getting a clear view from a distance, and it makes it much easier to stream without feeling like I’m managing a full production setup at the field.” — Mike R., Baseball Parent “As a PE teacher, I needed a camera that was easy to set up and practical for outdoor games. The VM33 has worked well for streaming from the sidelines, especially when I need a clear shot from farther away. The zoom makes a real difference, and it’s helped make game-day streaming much easier to manage.” — Mark L., PE Teacher This video shows how to use the NearStream VM33 camera with GameChanger for live sports streaming. Follow the steps to create an RTMP stream in GameChanger, enter the RTMP Server URL and Stream Key in the NearStream app, select the RTMP destination, choose 720p, and go live. GameChanger live streaming supports up to 720p resolution, making VM33 a great fit for baseball, softball, and youth sports broadcasts. • Fantastic image quality, long battery life, and superior customer service.
Set name: 3-Pack VM33
I livestream every day, and then I livestream from casinos every fed months, so I need good, reliable cameras. First, I was using the Meevo cameras and the interface and ease of setup is great on those, but they wouldn't livestream very well even on super fast 5g cell hotspot. So, I thought maybe these would be better. The few bad things: 1. Form factor: these things are really big. I mean, they are twice the size of the Meevo Start cameras. 2. Instructions: the little piece of paper included has nearly nothing useful printed inside them. 3. Connecting the 3 cameras to the app if you're not on wifi was a pain with the limited instructions. However, customer service has been A+++++ and has gotten back to me extremely fast and have been super helpful. I'll detail out below how to connect all 3 cameras into the app, if you're using hotspot. The good: 1. Ok, the picture quality on these are excellent. Yes, they are big and heavy. But for that, you get great lenses, and 10x optical zoom, which is fantastic. 2. Battery life: These easily last 4-6 hours. My in person streams are 2-3 hours, so no issues for me there. They do take a while to charge, so plan ahead if you're doing multiple events in 1 day. 3. The app is easy to use once you mess around with it. I would have liked to have pinch-to-zoom instead of having to go into the individual camera settings and slide a bar to zoom in and out, but I usually get it all setup and then leave it during my stream. 4. Audio quality with the built in mics are ok for what they are. That being said, use a lapel mic or something else if you want good quality sound if you're talking or similar. I also have the Nearstream lapel mics and they are EXCELLENT. I have the DJI lapel mics that cost $300+, and these are just as good in every way, at a fraction of the cost. They come with a nice case, and they hold a nice, long charge. SETUP FOR NON-WIFI, HOTSPOT situations (maybe you're in the field with no wifi): 1. Install the app. Turn on 1 camera only. From your phone, drag down from the top and choose wifi (or however you get to your wifi settings). 2. You will see the Nearstream camera listed as a wifi source. Connect to it. You will get a notification that it does not have internet. Choose ok. Also look at the wifi settings for that camera and make sure to check the 'keep connected even if no internet'. I'm not sure every phone has that, but my Pixel 9 does. If you don't select that, your phone may disconnect that connection to the camera. 3. Open the app, click the + icon to add a camera. You should now see that camera listed as available. Click connect. It will bring up a screen that gives you two choices: WIFI, or HOTSPOT. You will choose HOTSPOT. Go through the wizard, and it will then return you to the list of cameras. You may have to click the 'connect' button next to the camera again, in which this time go to the main home screen, and you will see your camera streaming to your phone. Bing. Ok, that's ONE. 4. Turn on the other 2 cameras. Go back into the app, click + to add a camera. You should now see the other 2 cameras in the list. They will be identified by the ID number that's on the back of each camera label. Don't worry, you can rename them later. Click on one and connect. It will bring you back to the screen to choose WIFI or HOTSPOT. This time, you will choose WIFI. The instructions are very poor around this connectivity area. Once you choose WIFI, the FIRST camera that you setup as a HOTSPOT will be in the list. Choose that camera WIFI. Boom, you'll be connected. Follow the same steps, as you may have to click 'connect' next to it again for it to start streaming and show up on your main streaming page. Repeat these steps with the remaining camera. You will now have all 3 cameras streaming and connected to the app, and you should be able to see the video that each camera is sending. Click on each camera in the lower section, to select it, and that's what will be shown if you are livestreaming or recording. I won't get into the video settings, as they are pretty self-expanatory, but you can choose the resolution that you want, etc... You can also choose auto-director or something like that, which will automatically rotate and show project what each camera is showing. I prefer to manually choose which camera I want my members to see. In my case, I have 2 camera to show me at the roulette table, another pointed directly down on the table so people can see my bets, and the 3rd camera is showing the roulette wheel. Ok, there you have it. Not super intuitive, and if it came with those instructions, it would have saved me days and days of pulling my hair out trying figure out why these weren't connecting. Overall, thumbs up big time. If you want great picture quality and long battery life, these are it. If you need much more compact, go with the Meevo, although be warned, they tend to disconnect and reconnect from your phone quite often. I have had zero issues with the Nearstream cameras staying connected. ... show more

    • Happy Customer / Happy Producer!
Set name: 3-Pack VM33
I am almost as impressed with the product as I am with the customer service. I use this setup for a video podcast, and the cameras and features are as advertised. The video and audio are quite good; while I still prefer the wireless mic solution for interviews, I had a tech issue with my mics on my first use with these and was able to use the native audio from the camera just fine...sort of a lifesaver. The tripod for mounting multiple cams is well-engineered and increases the options. I have other tripods, but this one is always on my shoots because of the simplicity it offers. I did have a misunderstanding about my order and addressed it with customer service, and I was shocked at how quickly they were in touch with me, how determined to resolve the issue in my favor (and they did), and how they have stayed in touch with me to see how things are working. I can't imagine they can do that with every purchase, but they did do it with me, so color me lucky. I really like the product and the company so far! ... show more

    • Great Cameras. Excellent Service!
Set name: 3-Pack VM33
If you want to start streaming right out of the box, this set of cameras is for you. Super easy to setup and use. Best customer service I have ever seen (no joke… absolutely the best people). Just keep in mind the time zone difference, but the next morning I always had a response. Will they be completely trouble free? Maybe, maybe not. I did have a couple small issues. Had trouble connecting to YouTube. Contacted support… fixed! Had trouble with cameras cutting out. Contacted support… fixed!!! I stream almost every weekday. I wouldn’t trade these cameras for anything else! ... show more

Set name: 3-Pack VM33
Dont waste your money. Requires a hardline to do HDR mode which needs another attachment just to facilitate. Or if you are okay with your videos being 2 fps a second on record you can do it over wifi or over its Hotspot. Which is still bad. Also no hdmi output makes this a very useless camera. I also wouldnt know if it wss just my one camera I got as the thing only shipped with 1 even though it says 3. ... show more

    • Great, durable cameras
Set name: 3-Pack VM33
Excellent video quality. When I tested them out on my home network, I thought they were 1080p but I had set them to 720p. The app used to control them is ok. That’s the weakness in all of this. I had one camera on a tripod 9’ high. The wind caused it to blow over and crash onto large gravel. There are some decent sized grooves in it from the landing. The camera had zero internal problems and worked just fine afterward. I was impressed. I’m getting about 6 hours at 720p with a full battery. Another 3-pack would be nice but the app only handles 4 cameras. ... show more
