The prescription (1.0) helped me see all the turtles, sea lions, and penguins. The snorkel was sealed and comfortable. Excellent value! The mask seems sturdy enough for more use. The snorkel attachment is flimsy but can likely be replaced if it snaps.

Was water-tight but not uncomfortable, and nearsightedness strength was enough to see underwater clearly. Good color choice, we god blue: still neutral but distinctive enough we knew which set was for who. The snorkel was easy to use, teen son said he’d wear it again- high praise indeed. Note- if you’re undecided on which strength to get, go a level DOWN from your prescription; the water will do a bit of refracting so it totally works out.

Because of the great reviews I wanted to give this a try as I can't wear contacts anymore and we have a snorkel trip coming up. Unfortunately the snorkel mask arrived completely scratched and the ear plugs were missing. I returned the set and spend a bit more for a quality mask that should last for years. If you are planning to use these just once, this might be for you. Probably these won't last much longer. If you instead prefer a long lasting mask you should probably look for something else.

I have poor eyesight and had been looking for a good snorkeling set and was surprised to come across a mask with a prescription vision option! Even better, this set includes a mount for GoPro and similar cameras! The goggles and snorkel are high-quality. Even without the camera mount feature or the vision prescription this would be a great buy. The camera mount functions perfectly. My only complaint is that the vision prescription ordering option was not clear (at least not to a non-optometrist). The listing said "Nearsighted Diving Mask with Detachable Camera Mount: -1.5, -2.0, -2.5, -3.0, -3.5, ... -6.0, suitable for myopia divers, say goodbye to blurred vision and maintain an extremely clear view underwater." Typically, vision prescriptions will have two to three numbers for each eye (four to six numbers total), so a single lens strength is not likely to be suitable for both eyes. Aside from that, which is it? Spherical, Cylindrical? I finally decided to select the CYL numbers and aim for a mask with the closest number to the prescription for each eye. I still can't tell if I did it right, but the mask does do something different to my eyes when I'm underwater. It may be a little better, but the slight offset from my correct prescription leaves me with that "new glasses" dizziness each time I dive. I suspect more clarity in the ordering instructions would result in a swim mask that does work better for swimmers with nearsightedness.
