  • The most addicting game I've ever played!
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
If you are a sports games fan, this is the best that there is in my opinion. It really doesn't get better than this game. It is by far the most addicting game I have ever played. Every single game mode is extremely in depth, fun, and most of all exciting, which is what keeps you playing. The only problem I have is deciding which to play, dynasty or road to glory mode! In dynasty, the recruiting system is fantastic. If you truely devote yourself and put in a lot of time, you can get top ranked recruits. Basically, you get what you put into the game. It's extremely exciting to get job offers from other schools and progress your coach. My only problem here is that it doesn't seem to make is personalized. You don't really create your coach in the beginning, and when you move schools your "coach prestige" and "coach experience" doesn't move with you. In other words it will be what your school's is. If you start at a top ranked school, your prestige and experience are already high, which doesn't make sense. My only other complaint about dynasty mode is that they try to sell you stuff (real $) at the end of each season. What it is really is offering you cheats for sale. You can buy ways to train your athletes better or to recruit better. That should be left out of the game in my opinion. As for road to glory, it's pretty much perfect. You really feel like you are part of a team, and it's extremely exciting when you are trying to do your job knowing you can't control anybody else but at the same time that your contribution makes a difference in the final score. I have played QB, HB, WR, MLB, and DE in this mode and every single one is as exciting and addicting as the other. You start in high school playoffs and if you do well in those 5 games you can become a 5 star recruit and get offered scholarships by different teams (usually every team will offer you a scholarship, but you will definitely not be a starter in the top schools). You then have to practice and increase your stats to become the starter. It's really wonderful, but what makes it even more interesting is the addition of Andrews, who highlight all your games and makes it really personal. I love that touch cause it makes it seem like what you're doing really matters. I love this game, and it's by far my favorite sports game out there, even though I'm more of an NFL and soccer fan. ... show more

  • best college football game todate
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
ok so every year i go out to get the new college football game because as a great fan for the NFL i enjoy making my own draft classes and playing them in the new madden games. Every year i play the new ones that come out to find that there really isnt anything new about that one then the year before, and i was starting to lose interest in spending $60 for the game. But this year as changed the way that i feel now. When i first played the game they did add some new things but the biggest thing to me was their way to finally make the road to glory worth playing again by adding the sportscenter espn take to the game. after each week you get the see the big plays you did and see your stats for the game. It makes you feel that the game was actually on espn and more real life. i rate that 5 stars. So if Ea. can keep this up im back on the fan wagon again. Now its time to play my players on the madden ... show more

I'd been playing NCAA 09 for, like, years. It finally went bad, so I decided to 'upgrade' (mind you, it's 2016, and I just bought a game from 2009...). I was at first incredibly frustrated at how much smarter the computer is in this game, so playing football on the Xbox was finally challenging again. I've been incredibly pleased with this game, and I'd give it a solid two thumbs up to anyone still in the dark ages (like me) who wants and 'upgrade.' ... show more

for all those ncaa football fans out there, get this game. it is awesome and fun. the road to glory (rtg) is a lot of fun. in rtg, u get to create a prospect or choose from any player on any team. there is dynasty mode where you get to play as a team and control the team. very fun. i just play rtg. that is the biggest part because you could import your character into madden nfl 10. ... show more

  • Not backwards compatible on Xbox
Platform For Display: Xbox 360
Don’t buy this unless you have the prehistoric machine known as the Xbox 360. Then does that 360 still work? I went through four 360s before buying an Xbox one. They don’t last forever. Anyway this game will only work on Xbox 360 so it will be getting returned.
