I haven't been inspired to write many reviews lately, but was oddly thrilled with this purchase. I bought the 6.6-19.8 lbs version of this monitor arm. When I ran an IT department at a hospital, it frankly would have easily run about $150 or more for similar quality. Although the instructions are a little messy, it didn't take long to figure out how to adjust the arm as desired. One tip that isn't mentioned in the instruction manual is to loosen the tension screws on both rotational joints before inserting the bottom arm into the base and/or the top arm into the bottom arm, else you can't insert them fully. I bought this for a desk in my bedroom so that I could swing the monitor from one end of the desk to the other, depending on whether I was working on my PC or watching movies in bed. It has great reach, pivots and swings into position easily and maintains position well. As long as the gas cylinder is of decent quality and holds up from a lot repositioning, I'll be very happy with this purchase. One bonus with this model is cable management - it has built-in covers/guides for running cables and there are also two USB ports which more or less act as a mounting point for USB extension cables to help with cable management. The mechanisms are all adjustable, so no matter how heavy your monitor is, you can make it really easy to move it around. You can literally lift it up with 1 finger when you have it adjusted properly. Installation is very secure. I have a thick desk & it still fit.

This is a quality mount. I like it! Two issues 1) Part D was defective on arrival. Part D is the plastic that covers the rear bottom of the mount to organize/hide the monitor/USB cables. Other parts seem fine. There seems no good way for me to contact seller to get a free replacement just for this part. 2) rear usb cable prevents desks from being close to wall. Improve to a right angle cable if possible?

These are very nice monitor arms. Great value, very sturdy, decent instructions with all included parts. They are heavy and look nice. I bought two and have both installed on my desk. Assembly is not hard, but there is more to it than I expected, and you need to pay attention to the instructions. Of course when you have the monitor attached you also have the extra weight to contend with, so make sure you have enough room to assemble and install. I was putting two on the same desk and wanted both screens to butt together in the center, so I needed to move the bases several times further apart to allow them to both monitors to fit properly together. The mount arms have plenty of adjustments, and once you set the joint tensions properly for the weight of your monitor (tight enough to hold in place, loose enough so it can move) , it is easy to move and adjust the arm with monitor and keep the new position. I am very happy with these monitor arm mounts.

The F100A North Bayou monitor is built like a tank. Easy to put on my desk and does exactly what I need it to do. Some have reported the plate the monitor attaches too is "locked" into place and is unable to be moved making the stand useless. When I opened mine I found that I couldn't budge it either meaning the monitor could not be set level. Thought I'd have to return it. There is a piece that allows the monitor to swivel side to side and this is tucked in against the arm in the package. When I turned the swivel to "center" I was then able to twist the plate to "straight level" and all was well. I can now place my monitor wherever I need it with ease and it stays in place. I'm not sure how the $100 + mounts can be any better than this one that is about half the price. Getting the power and video cords into the holder wasn't difficult, just need a little patience. I also left out installing the usb cables as I have plenty of connections on my pc and they would never be used. Good value, does the job, what else could you want?

I bought two right out of the gate after a TON of research. I wanted the ability to use the clamping option or the desk mount option. My desk is made of two old doors from 1913 and so I need them to be mounted rather than clamped due to its positioning. These I suspect will not disappoint me. I love the pneumatic arms, the stands hold my two 32" curved displays without issue. One thing I would like to see, have the hdmi/dp ports where the two USB ports are in the back of the stand. To me it makes more sense. I mean why string the HDMI/DP cable thru the cable covers - I have two 6' cables and wish I had bought 2 10' cables. The ability to hide the cords is lovely, but I'd rather plug the monitor into the stand and the stand into the pc. Anyway, buying this mount could not be a bad idea. I'm happy I spent the money, the desktop footprint is small, and the setup efficient. I work from home so having a clean workflow is good. Fewer cables even better. I'll post photos once my desk is reorganized... but I think I will love this. Do the research, but for me, this is the only brand I will buy - it is EXCELLENT quality. Sturdy, and clean, and WHITE. It goes well in my workspace.

Gonna just get out with my issues. The VESA plate is too thick for any monitor that uses a clip stand, this is an oversight on their part to make it look more.. stylish. Since it doesn't fit, you need spacers and longer screws which they don't included. The hardware kit is very minimal, 4 screws, 4 washers for the mounting and that is it. I had to buy spacers and the appropriate length screws. Unfortunately this increased the cost of the item more than I wanted to spend. Once I got the appropriate hardware, the mount seems great, lifts easy enough at the right tension, looks nice and very minimal wobble. I'd probably have given it a 5 star if not for the VESA place not fitting and/or lack of appropriate hardware.
