I am between sizes small& medium, but I wear small the most. I went with the small hesitantly. When it came in I tried it on thinking it might be a fail BUT it fit perfectly! The waist does not squeeze my sides - with that I wouldn’t say there is much tummy control if that is what you’re looking for. There is not a “banded” elastic either to give a weird look to it either! Looks high quality & it is short (which I was looking for) if you’re thighs tend to run together this will not help prevent that the shorts (for me) cut off right before my thighs touch. I will be buying in basically every color! Easy to dress up or down going out for brunch to golfing maybe even I night out with A POCKET! This is a win I highly recommend & buy the size you wear the most ... show more

This is an absolute win for me. I wore it a 2.5 hour, substance free, dance party and I go hardcore when I dance. This was my first time wearing it and it was worth its money, as it was sweltering with all the body heat, the absolute oppressive summer heatwave we are all experiencing and it was a 200 year old church with little air conditioning. I was drenched and this skirt just wicked away the 2.5 hours of nonstop sweat that I produced. I was so impressed. I forgot a change of bottoms, so the 30 min drive home was so comfy because it didn’t even feel drenched like my sassy workout top that I got from Amazon. This has shorts underneath that were so comfortable, I never had to adjust them. The skirt is very versatile in the length and the v shaped, high waist made me look sexy AF. I'm ~5'1" and 105 lbs, slightly pear-shaped. I got this in the high cross waist, double front ruffle style in Black. It's a very cute and comfortable skirt. Short but not too short. My only complaint is that the shorts underneath are a bit too short and tight for my liking. I have to de-wedgie them more often than not. But the skirt part itself fits perfectly, so I'm conflicted as to whether the fit is "as expected" (the exterior is) or "slightly too small" (the undershorts are). I also got the flowy style skirt in XS, White and the shorts under that one don't have this problem. They are a bit longer and not so tight. Overall, I recommend, just watch out for potentially tight undershorts. ... show more

I ordered a Medium and it fits pretty great! I am 5’6, 145lb, normally about a size 6 in jeans for reference. The waist doesn’t offer me as much tummy control as it isn’t very tight on my waist as it is my legs but it isn’t loose either. The material is very soft which I love. Also it looks shorter on the product images than it actually is as you can see in my pics. Will likely order in other colors! ... show more
