I just received my Nautica watch less than 2 hours ago by UPS and wanted to share it with you to hopefully help you in your desicions! I must say I am above average interested in watches having had a wide variety of watches in all price ranges through the past 30 years. I have my own particular taste and I automatically steer away if something looks overly "blingy" or cheap. I have always tended to go for what I really like instead of thinking too much about the price. For instance, last year, I had my eyes set on a Tag Heuer chronograph costing around 2500 USD for months but ended up buing a Roamer (amazing independent swiss brand) for around 600 USD. It just looked and felt a lot better. Being my first time to order a watch online, I wanted to find something nice with a modest price to check out how it worked. As a watch fan I was of course concerned if I would get a fake product, not receiving anything at all and so on. But i have had great experience with Amazon before and reading lots of reassuring reviews about the merchandise sold directly from Amazon I started looking for a nice watch to order. I have had my eyes on Nautica watches for a while for that sporty, rugged look and i simply could not believe the amazing bargains offered by Amazon on different models. I live in Oslo, Norway which is known to be among the top 3 most expensive cities in the world and this particular model retails at 500 USD in net stores here! To have gotten it at 99 USD here on Amazon makes this an amazing bargain. So, ordering process was very simple through the Amazon site. I was promised 3-4 days delivery and was informed swiftly about the whereabouts of my package through my account here. It was due in tomorrow but I got it today right to my door step by UPS. It came thoroughly packed and in the original Nautica box with instruction manual included. It was strapped to a soft "pillow" with all tags and plastic protection intact. Looking at the watch, it gives an immediate quality impression. Taking it out of the box, it feels heavy and solid. It is flawless and the black strap fits the watch really great. It is already running and with a few quick moves I set the time and date. Putting it on, it fit perfectly on my above average size wrists. Tightening the strap to the second hole gave a comfortable fit. The watch feels solid and secure on the wrist. I have seen many comments about this model saying that it is very heavy, very big etc. if you are a tall, solid guy like me with big wrists and hands this watch has a perfect size and weight. All the functions are very easy to read. The bezel moves in a solid way and is easy to adjust. Stop watch functions works like they are supposed to. All I can say is, if you are looking for this type of watch combining great price and quality, order this watch! I've been needing to replace my very old Timex for a while. I've been looking at watches on Amazon for quite some time. This is documented by Amazon's repeated emails to me with watch suggestions. I finally decided to place and order and selected the Nautica 19508G NST Chronograph. Of course, ordering and delivery was flawless. I do have to say that I was surprised to see how big this watch is in person. Compared to my old watch, this thing was positively huge! I understand that having a big watch is kinda the style now. Now that I've had it for about a week, I'm getting used to it. I like the style, It looks good, but not too fancy that I don't want to wear it daily. My only criticism is that it would be nice if it was more easily seen at night. Unless you happen to go from daylight to darkness, it's just not going to be easy to see the time. The glowing part of the markings and hands could be better. Not a real big thing, but that was a reason that I wore a Timex for so many years. I always liked the Indiglo/night time feature. Again, not a big deal, but something that I wish this watch had was some sort of light for nighttime viewing. All in all, this seems to be a solid, good-looking watch. I'd buy again. ... show more

I'm a person who is very picky on what type of watch I buy, and more so when I can't hold the piece before I buy it. I own expensive watches and lesser priced watches, so for me it comes down to the look, feel, and quality in determining if I'm going to spend the money. I was looking to replace a real nice titanium Citizen watch I bought in Europe 15 years ago. That watch finally stopped working (too much use probably) and Citizen doesn't carry the parts for it anymore, so I've been looking for a watch with similar looks, appeal, heft, and features. After many months and many different brands, I am pleasantly surprised to have found a quality watch made by Nautica. It has a nice large face with the chronograph features and the stainless steel band with the ridge detail adds a nice accent. If you are looking for a lightweight watch that is discrete, this isn't it. This watch has a strong look and feel without being gaudy. It is definitely worth the money. ... show more

Purchased primarily for the interesting colors. Not the most complicated chronograph on the market by a long shot, as some of the "powered by light" competitors are. However, those can be very tedious to reset, whereas this Nautica certainly isn't. Looks slightly better on the wrist. Band is a soft rubber. You can spend considerably more, but if you like the color scheme, why do that? Look into this. Shipping was on time and packaged initially in a zippered Nautica watch box, whichy was protected by standard Amazon bubble wrap bag. ... show more

This is a fine watch for it's price range . A larger heavy duty time piece that's priced well for what it offers . This watch has a specialized type of strap . Strap could be a bit more but I can work with it . Should mention that if it's exposed to strong bright light it will light right up in the dark for a while . It's a bit heavy but bling enough to be noticed . Water resistant I imagine but wouldn't be wise to dive with it from what I see in the comments . No disappointment . I like a bargain and this is really a good choice . ... show more
