    • Always A Winner With Our Dogs 🐕 ❤️
Flavor Name: Chicken Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
Review Image by HMC
We have a 16yr old Morkie and a 7yr old Shih Tzu and have been purchasing Nature's Recipe brand dry dog food for over 10 years for daily feeding. We rotate through the different flavor varieties and our dogs love all of them! We love that there are grain-free options with sweet potato & pumpkin with other healthy ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. The kibbles are perfect for our small breeds. Our 16yr old - who has barely any teeth left! - loves to bring his kibbles to his blanket to enjoy. 🐕 Nature's Recipe dry dog food is always fresh and has a very pleasant aroma - our dogs love it and it is a daily part of their diet and very well tolerated. We always make sure we have enough at home. A 4lbs bag usually lasts us anywhere from 4 - 6 weeks. Overall the Nature's Recipe dry dog food always exceeds our expextations and we believe that it plays an essential role in our dogs health & longevity. We are very happy repeat customers with happy healthy dogs - priceless! 🐕 😀 ... show more

    • designed to cater to the unique nutritional needs of small dogs
Flavor Name: Chicken Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
Choosing the right food for your dog, especially a picky small breed, can be incredibly challenging *and* expensive! I understand the struggle of wanting to provide quality food without breaking the bank, and I've tried countless brands, even making homemade meals, to satisfy my Pomeranian Chihuahua. She consistently preferred the cat's food, which was incredibly frustrating. That's why I was so thrilled to discover Nature's Recipe Grain Free Small Breed Chicken, Sweet Potato, and Pumpkin dog food. Honestly, I had nearly given up! Chicken is the first ingredient, providing essential protein. Sweet potatoes and pumpkin offer excellent fiber for healthy digestion. This is crucial for a dog's overall health...after all, there's a reason for different ingredients in cat kibble and dog kibble! The grain-free formula is perfect for dogs with sensitivities, and it's been gentle on my dog's stomach. The small kibbles are ideal for tiny mouths...and she really is so very tiny. She weighs all of 3 pounds soaking wet, and I'm always amazed at her little mouth. I love to watch her when she barks because her little snout looks like it's ready to drink from a drinking straw – so small pieces are so important. She has no trouble eating these bits. They really make it easy for her to chew and swallow. I appreciate that there are no artificial colors or flavors. Maybe it's a small thing, but she is such an unexpected and delightful part of my life. For someone who never thought I would ever be a dog person, she has really become a part of my soul, and I would do anything I possibly can for her. This is such a simple thing to do, and I'm not sure why all dog food isn't made without artificial flavors and colors. It gives me peace of mind knowing I'm feeding her a wholesome diet. Pickiest Eater Approved! This is the most important thing. I was able to mix this food with my cat's kibble, and my dog ate it! Over time, I was able to reduce the amount of cat food in the mixture, and now she is eating almost entirely this dog food! She is healthier, more energetic, and her breath is so much better. Additionally, it's only slightly more expensive than some other brands. Not *really* expensive like a lot of the designer brands that seem to be so popular right now, but slightly more expensive. It's a little stretch for my tight budget, but not ridiculously so. The quality and the fact that it finally got my picky dog to eat dog food makes it worth every penny. I am saving money on other brands that she would not eat. * **Finding It:** Availability can be an issue in some stores, but thankfully, it's easily accessible online. **Overall Rating: 4.7/5** Nature's Recipe Grain Free Small Breed Chicken, Sweet Potato, and Pumpkin dog food has exceeded my expectations. It's not just a good food; it's a solution for picky eaters like my dog. The quality ingredients, small kibble size, and positive impact on my dog's health make it a must-try for small breed owners. The fact that it finally convinced my dog to eat dog food is nothing short of a miracle! ... show more

Great size for toy breeds, dogs seem to like the taste, just started adding it to their food slowly to get them adjusted to the new food.

    • Pup likes it!
Flavor Name: Chicken Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
This is the only dry food our super picky pup will eat. She loves the Nature's Recipe wet food and has that for her evening meal, but will snack on the kibble throughout the day. I like the smaller size, it's easy to store and lift, and the resealable bag is so convenient for keeping it fresh. The ingredients are decent, it is priced well, and easy to find in stores or online. ... show more

    • Great for picky eaters!
Flavor Name: Chicken Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
Review Image by Adriana
I purchased the small breed recipe and I must say I am shocked my picky eating Chihuahua loves this food! I give this food 10/10, I also noticed he is so happy while eating now, he wags his tail and even looks up at me as if saying ”Look at me mama!” I’ve already repurchased this food 3 times, now I’m stocking up. Give it a try if you have a picky eater, your dog will thank you. 😊 ... show more

    • My dogs love this food!
Flavor Name: Chicken Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have 4 dogs, including a 14 year old senior Frenchie. He stopped eating and I was frantic to find something he would eat. Up until it's never been a problem, but due to his age it's vital he stays well nourished as he has medical issues. I feed them fresh chicken and beef with a very expensive and widely known kibble. Nature's Recipe caught my attention as it is completely grain free, no corn, soy or wheat added, no by-products of any kind or colors, preservatives or flavors. I got the Chicken, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin recipe and THEY LOVE IT! Even the Frenchie - he cannot get enough and will even eat it before he goes to bed as a "snack!" I am so delighted and they all seem to be doing exceptionally well two weeks in. I just ordered the bigger bag and wet food. Surprisingly this is less expensive than that other kibble - and my dogs are doing better on it and love it! THANK YOU NATURE'S RECIPE! Wish I had found you sooner! ... show more
