I like this honey - good flavor and a small amount goes a long way. But it comes in a plastic squeeze bottle and once opened, it starts to crystallize and lump up on the bottom. I have to transfer it to a glass jar to prevent crystallization, or at least to be able to heat it up in the mircowave later on to melt it down again. I don't know if that's particular to this brand only, because it's my favorite and I don't use other brands so can't compare. ... show more

I prefer this for brewing rather than eating straight. It's very, very sweet. Pours very easily. The flavor is pretty neutral, so it won't compete with any fruit or spices you bring in to a mead batch. The yeast absolutely love it.
