These are the best treats. You get a lot for your money. We have a 15 pound Shih Tzu and these treats are large enough that I can cut each one of them into several smaller treats. When Buddy hears, "Do you want a Jerky Treat," his ears perk up and he gets yo the kitchen before me. These are his favorite. OUR DOGS LOVE THESE!!! There are thousands of dog treats/chews on the market but few get the response from our dogs that the Pur Luv K9 Kabobs get. One of the dogs is a small breed, so I am careful to make sure what she consumes has nutritional value and not just fillers. These are GREAT! With 50% protein and the yummy chicken, duck and liver, our dogs will stand on their back legs waiting, when we ask if they want a kabob? The 3 meaty sections don't last long but they sure enjoy them. The internal chew is a bit tougher so keeps them working on it a little longer. So far, this company hasn't reduced the portion of meat on their product like some have. So, I am getting more of these and less of some previous chews because we get more value for our money. I also like that they’re made with real chicken, which makes me feel a little better about giving them regularly compared to more processed treats. That said, the pieces can be a bit inconsistent. Some are a good size, while others are pretty small or oddly shaped. It’s not a huge issue, but it does make portioning a little less predictable. There is a slight smell when you open the bag, but nothing too strong or unusual for jerky-style treats.
