My senior Chi, Jupiter, adopted without a lot of teeth last October, needs soft foods, but good ones. Other than this has "chicken" listed in ingredients (so hard to find a treat that doesn't these days, it seems) after beef, it's perfect in every other way (also a smidge high with 16% protein, but when added into full day of low protein food, not a problem). I've tried others that he'll eat for a while, sometimes not at all, but then he goes off them. These are so soft to break small pieces off of and put in a dish (he can have 1/day according to weight chart, so 1/2 and 1/2). They don't smell awful, either - a lot of soft treats seem to have odd odor. I hope Jupe keeps liking them. ... show more

I bought this because my dog is missing a lot of his teeth and he is now 10 yrs old. He loves them and has no problems chewing them up as they come out very moist. They are so cute snd look like a little grilled New York steak. All Of my dogs love them but I buy them specifically for my old chihuahua. I recommend these to anyone looking for a great treat. They look so good that they make me want to take a bite out of them…lol. Affordable too. Great price! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought these Nudges grillers treats from an Amazon Recommendation and am super glad I did. I have two American Bully 9wk old pups and previously bought some gourmet treats that had good ingredients but weren’t as soft as these nor did they smell as great. I am assuming the flavor is great because my pups go crazy as soon as they lick the treats. What I love best is being able to easily break them up into tiny pieces to mix around in their kibble bowls. These grillers versus the gourmet treats have my pups cleaning their bowls so I know they are full. I typically use one treat per pup. Really love how fresh these smell. I highly recommend these. I also bought the Nudges jerky version too and they love those as well. ... show more

Before trying these with my lady pit, I read thru many of the reviews and some mentioned mold... these are a moist product and will mold very quickly once opened just like any food would. I still gave them a try and my lady pit loves them. She is very picky about what she eats, so I was happy to have a treat she would enjoy. However, I too encountered the dreaded mold issue a few days after opening the bag and there was about half a bag left. I just bought more and I know that some will go bad before the whole bag can be used. They do sell smaller size bags, but I have noticed that the smaller bags cost more for some reason. I'll stick with this 16oz size and just inspect them before I give them to my lady pit. One thing I did notice the first time I opened the very first bag... they smell awesome!! I wanted to eat them too! They smell just like beef jerky, one of my favorite treats! I restrained myself so my lady pit could have her own treat. My dogs go absolutely ballistic for these. In fact, I have a hard time using them as training treats for my pup because he loses all sense of thought as soon as I bust one of these out. Used to lay down fine with the old treats, now he just wants to tear my fingers off with the nudges burger treats. Treats are fresh and soft so my pit doesn’t choke on them when he swallows them whole, and my border pup has an easy time chewing and digesting them. Flavor must be good because they go full Neanderthal when they hear the bag. Maybe I’ll have a few cocktails and give y’all a real opinion. They smell good, so doubt they could taste bad..
