It's a beautiful color, Champagne. It's shiny but not as much as Satin. It's bit thicker feel & soft. My pillow doesn't slide inside the pillow like some silk & or satin-silk cases. I have slept so good since I got my Tempurpedic Cloud Cooling pillow and this pillow cases. So nice against my skin feels soft and hair is soft when I wake up. I prefer zippered cases so pillow doesn't move much or slide out espec silk satin cases. I haven't washed it yet silk not to be washed but every 3-4 wks between washings. Best wash in non phosphorus and by hand or delicate cycle in a linen bra bag. Shake when done then air dry. I absolutely love this case so far been 2 wks. I had the Silk Momme 19 it was thinner & slippery not as soft, returned it got this Mommy 22. Bit more expensive but it's worth it. It's bit thicker & soft. There is the Momme 25 but out of my budget. Maybe one day I can. In the meantime this 22 is so worth it. You get what you pay for in this case. So between finally investing in a really good 'true' memory foam plus gel cooling has given me a comfortable sound sleep. No more waking up with neck pain. So this & this pillowcase are a perfect match. #Tempurpedic

I really like these pillowcases, however they do stain easily. Just be aware that any tiny amount of leftover makeup or hair product that comes in contact with the pillowcase may leave a mark. As far as laundering, I wash the cases in a laundry bag and hang to dry. They require a bit of ironing, but I do not iron directly on the pillowcase. I found it works best to put a piece of light-weight cloth between the pillowcase and the iron.

Because I have been using these pillowcases, my hair has changed immensely! My hair before was extremely hard to tame in the morning but having my head on this pillow case at night has made it easy for me to do my hair. I also notice it supports my clear skin longer as well. Obviously still do your hair care or skin care routine but adding this into the equation made a big difference for me. Recommend!

I bought this with hesitation since I wasn’t fully convinced this would work. I have wavy to curly locks, typical Puerto Rican hair. I blow my hair pin straight every morning because with my previous pillowcases, I would wake up like I had a bird’s nest on my head. I must sweat at night because in the morning it looks horrible. First morning after using this pillowcase, I looked like I just went to bed. My hair was straight and I didn’t even need to blow dry. It’s been like that for weeks now. It actually works! Great gift for my curly hair girlfriends.

I've tried a few different "100% silk" pillowcases. These are the only ones that feel and behave like real silk. The others I've found on Amazon have felt like polyester-- or at least a silk/poly blend. Spend a few dollars more for these. They're so worth it. * I gave these 5 stars on "wrinkle free" but, they're not wrinkle free because real silk isn't wrinkle free.

It seems fairly well made; finished edges on seams, but not French seams. Hand washed once (in cold water)in Woolite and line dried; not as silky soft after, but also didn’t iron it, which may have helped. Very nicely packaged from manufacturer in sturdy, attractive card stock envelope; definitely could have been given as a gift. Care instructions included. Happy with my purchase.
