Depending on the battery you use for these jumper cables, they can get quite warm. While they were great for easy jumps, as some of you may know, sometimes you have to keep trying, and this can get quite warm. I was disappointed with the quality of this cable. The connectors and wire do not feel as heavy-duty as advertised, and I am not confident it will hold up with regular use. I expected better construction for an 8AWG cable.

Beats a jump box. I use my Milwaukee M18 and I’ve jumped many vehicles since I’ve had these! One thing I noticed, is I had a fully charged M18 battery but after a jump the battery goes down to one light bar. So you expect the battery is out of charge and you go to put it on the charger, and it’s full charge within minutes. Not sure why that is. ... show more
