I have had cervical spine surgery, have low back problems, a fusion in my left hip and sciatica in both legs. I have tried six other “between the knee” pillows. This is hands down the winner. It is incredibly comfortable. So much more than the other pillows and the only one that actually keeps me in alignment. I wake up with NO pain. The thing to remember is that you need to give your body time to adjust to this pillow. It is different than the others and your body needs to get used to it. My low back hurt in the morning after the first few nights I used it but the pillow is so comfortable I continued giving it a chance. Now for the first time ever I have been waking up with no back pain! It is absolutely worth the adjustment period. It is medium firmness, with excellent support and well worth the money. It’s quite useful and comfortable for people with hip issues. The strap that keeps it in place on your leg makes sure you don’t lose it turning over in bed. The cushion is small and firm with a mouse-fur like cover. It is quite expensive for what it is, but I think it’s worth the money and it’s better than trying to keep a regular pillow between your legs.
