    • Worked as expected but flavor is not great
My children both have adhd and autism and have been required by their pediatricians to take melatonin before bed to help calm their minds before sleep, and like most low dose melatonin, these work as expected. Not too much lingering effects into the next day and we can certainly tell the nights when they fake take it versus the nights I watch them chew it up and swallow in front of me. The only real complaint is that at first the kids like the flavor but there’s a gross aftertaste once it’s gone that neither kid likes, so I trudge on to find one they don’t mind eating and instead hide them under the couch cushions. ... show more

I only use these occasionally; when sleep patterns are off, or if my daughter accidentally fell asleep in the car or something somewhat late in the day. She has been on and off napping for a year now. So when she falls asleep for a nap, sometimes she doesn’t fall asleep as easily at night.
