Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches to create a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This fantastically festive tree is strung with 900 Dual Color LED lights prior to packaging and includes a sturdy, metal base for a more convenient setup.     • Very Nice Tree but it Takes Time

I purchased this tree several months ago but only set it up recently. The tree went together easily in three sections. None of the sections are especially heavy-- maybe 20 lbs for the heaviest. I spent about 45 minutes fluffing the tree and then stood back and looked at it. My first impression was "Wow, this tree looks like the real trees my family had when I was growing up". Lots of space between the branches. Spaces that some people would call "really big gaps". I spent another two hours or so spread over a couple of days fluffing it. I would say I'm at about 85% to 90% of the pictures. An Artificial Christmas Tree Whisperer could probably get it to 100% and I'll continue to work on it. My old tree was 50" at the base and this one is 48". I didn't think a couple of inches would make much of a difference but it is definitely less tree. I made a platform/base out of 2X4s and a 24" square of plywood. This raises the tree about 4 or 5 inches and moves the wider section up more into eye level which I like. The LED lights are superb! The white light mode is bright with a very slight yellowish tint. It is definitely warm white. The multi-color mode offers a good assortment of colors that are bright but not glaring. My favorite modes are the twinkle warm light and the twinkle color. It comes with some spare bulbs but I went ahead and purchased a 70 bulb string of National Tree Co. Dual Multi-Color LED lights from Amazon for spare bulbs. This option seemed cheaper (about $40) versus a pack of four or five bulbs (over $20). The tree seems reasonably well made but I doubt it will last over 20 years like my old tree. However, it is a very pretty tree. Just be prepared to do a lot of fluffing. ... show more

    • Prettier than real—and the twinkling lights are wonderful

The search to replace our old tree took several years. (The old one had held up for decades, but the company went out of business.) The trees at the local Christmas store were incredibly expensive but looked cheap; I finally decided to take a chance on this one, based on the glowing reviews and half-price sale. It arrived within a week. The tree comes in three parts. I highly recommend watching the assembly videos on YouTube—the process is fairly easy, but there are a few tricks to help in the fluffing process. It took a couple of hours for perfection. Our old tree had soft needles on wire stems, and each needed to be bent into the proper position. The new tree has the same needles on interior branches, with firmer, more lifelike needles on the outside (lighter green in color). It looks a little strange in the box, but once assembled, it's absolutely gorgeous. One note: our old tree used to drop a pile of plastic needles every year with wear and tear. Not a single piece on the floor this year. The new branches drop into position in the same way the old one did, with three connector plugs for lights. And that's the best part! I was so concerned about lifelike needles that I totally missed all the lighting features. There are ten different settings, from white to multicolor to fades to twinkles. The color twinkle setting is so retro and cool—we just sit and stare at it. I have a big ornament collection, and the tree is full and strong enough to support them all. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Fingers crossed that the lights will last for many holiday seasons. ... show more

    • Still beautiful a year later

UPDATE: 12/8/24 Finally got it lit this year. It turned out that I had unscrewed the top strand of the second tier which caused top tier not to light properly. Once resolved it worked perfectly. So lesson learned is to be careful when disassembling after Christmas. Make sure that only the connection points between tiers are unscrewed. I’m marking the points with tape to make sure I don’t encounter this problem in the future. It is a gorgeous tree when I assembled correctly. UPDATE: 12/4/24 Can’t get the top third to light this year! Major bummer! Any advice? PURCHASED: 11/9/23 I rarely give 5 star reviews however this tree deserves it. We looked at a couple of dozen trees online and in stores to find the right one at a decent price. (We take our Christmas trees a bit seriously. ;-)) Reasons why we like: - the right height with lots a branches - tree has lots of lights. (We look for trees that have about 100 lights per foot) - we love the option to either have white or two types of multi colored lights. The color is great for day while the white is beautiful at night. (We were nervous about converting to LED lights but these lights are as nice as old fashion lights. We hope the LED lights will last longer than incondescent (sp?) lights making this tree an even a better value for money.) - the right width at 48 inches for a 7.5 ft tree. - the branches are great. There are lush “filler” branches for the interior of tree with heavier duty branches at the ends which make it strong enough for heavier ornaments. So the tree looks lush and full. -the tree is a little heavier than our old one; but I think the extra weight is okay given the great construction with better branches. ... show more

This tree quality is amazing. I bought this last year after the holidays so it could work with my budget (on sale). I was sad I had to wait a while year to see what it actually looked like up. I put it up this year and it was pleasantly surprised for how easy it was to out up. It has four sections and after some fluffing just looks beautiful with the different lights. Since it is prelit, the lights actually go to each branch and make the tree feel more Christmas-y (I don't have the patience to do that, I would have just wrapped a strand all around and called it day). ... show more

I can't say I'm a Christmas tree connoisseur, but I've seen a lot of trees over the years - real, fake, large, small, etc. This is by far one of the the nicest trees I've ever SEEN. And I'm thrilled it's in my house. I bought the 7.5 footer for my loft condo. I couldn't imagine paying a grand for any tree, but with the 60% off, I went ahead and bought it (still sorta felt like splurging). Now I feel a bit like Goldilocks because it fits JUST right. Not too big and not too small. I was incredibly impressed with the number of branches overall AND the number of branches ON those branches. In addition, every single branch (even the smallest ones) all move independently. This allows for endless fluffing and positioning to your heart's content. Need more space for ornaments? No problem. Want a fuller look for more spartan decor? Not an issue. This is the first tree that I am truly tempted to leave alone with just the lights for decoration. It's so lovely! ALL the branches have the real looking tips - yes, they are plastic (or long multisyllabic named material) but every single tip has the more realistic looking ends while the straight cut plastic is filler about halfway in towards the middle. Perfect blend in my opinion. I did get the correct tree I ordered the first time in just two days. All the lights work beautifully - soooo many options! PRO TIP - start fluffing each separate branch BEFORE assembling completely. Put the first section in the base, then fluff those before putting the second section on. You get much more access to all the moveable parts for easier manipulation. Repeat for second section, then finish with the top. All the happies and merries! ... show more

I've waited YEARS to replace our Christmas tree. Literally. Our last tree was from 1999 or 2000--a cheap end-of-season sale tree from Target. It had no lights, and each individual branch had to be stuck onto the center pole. Over the years, the pvc "needles' shed as badly as a real tree. Obviously, this one is a tremendous upgrade in every respect. But I didn't have to shell out $800 or $1,000 for it. It looks and feels like a very expensive tree. Believe me, I've been "shopping" these for at least 5 years, waiting to jump on the right tree at the right price. I'm so glad I did with this tree. I had pretty high criteria for my replacement tree. I wanted truly warm white LED bulbs (almost yellow in color to mimic the traditional bulbs). I wanted realistic PE branches--as many as I could afford. I wanted a slimmer profile in a 7.5' height. To me, the typical 55"-wide trees look squatty at that height. But the super-slim pencil trees look like they belong in a corner in a house that has a tree in every room--in other words, as a secondary decorator tree, not as the main tree. This tree had all the features I wanted and then some. Never in a million years would I have wanted a tree with colorful lights, but the children love the colors. I love that I can switch the colors out to white. I also LOVE the setting where only some of the lights twinkle. And it's so subtle, so random, that it looks peaceful instead of flashy. No, you can't control the settings via bluetooth or a phone app. You have to go over and step on the switch to change the light setting. But it looks and feels like a tree that costs twice as much. Also, there is a plug near the top if you want to plug in a star or topper that lights up. We don't have such a topper... but I'm now keeping my shopping eye open for one. It'll likely take me less than 5 years to make up my mind on that one. ;-) ... show more

    • A Wonderful Christmas Surprise

Staunch believers in real live christmas trees we decided it was getting too difficult to manage the setup of a live tree and made the leap to an artificial tree. To begin with, this was not our first choice in artificial Christmas trees. We were waiting for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Our first choice price did not change. So, we went with our second choice which was hundred of dollars less. The tree came well packed in a stout box. Everything needed was included even a sturdy stand. The tree looked realistic even before we completely unpacked it. As we set it up and fluffed the branches we continually expressed how realistic the branches looked. After assembling two of the three sections, we plugged the unfinished tree into an outlet…so many beautiful lights! So many combinations to choose from! The tree is a breeze to assemble and even though we hadn’t yet decorated it, we again turned on the lights to enjoy our new tree. We are definitely not disappointed and enthusiastically recommend this American Tree Company Nordic Spruce, Dual Color LED Lights, with Stand, 7.5 feet. ... show more
