I was attracted by the shape and the base - by the way, the color red is perfect, not a cheap red, but a deep royal velvet red. I find the lights quite enough and secure to the branches that can be opened in whichever way. I decorated it with red berries and a few other trinkets and it is perfect. Yes, the length of the chord is a bit short, need a plug nearby (which worked in my case) or an extension, but too long would have been unsightly. As for it being realistic, it is enough, and honestly I prefer its soft “needles” to the hard plastic kinds. I am partial to big real trees, but as fake ones go this rivals them in cuteness. Cute little tree. Able to stretch the branches out to give it good shape. I do think it could use a few more lights. That is my only complaint. That being said, I am not sending it back because I have the perfect spot for it in my window. Price was fair.
