I bought this tree on Black Friday of 2016 as it was a little lower in price than what it usually goes out for. I received the tree on Sunday, two days later which is a pretty impressive delivery speed. The tree came in a huge box. Delivery was prompt with no damages to the box. My cat was initially more excited than my husband or myself! When opening the box, we saw the tree all compressed inside the box and looking shabby. I had already read numerous reviewing warning about this so we didn't panic just yet. Taking it out of the box and assembly was easy peasy, anyone could do it without reading the instructions. However the lights were totally another issue. The lighting just wouldn't work on one section of the tree. We spent an inordinate amount of time figuring out what was wrong, including pulling out and replacing the fuses of the problematic section, which was an ordeal to say the least. In the end, our problem with a section boiled down to ONE lamp missing which was easily taken care of with the numerous extra lamps and fuses the company provides in little sachets. However this task took us a long time to resolve. The fluffing also takes a great amount of time, which is another thing I read in reviews so I was prepared. Trust me and the other reviewers when we say the fluffing takes a long time, it REALLY takes a long time. I would suggest you have no other activity planned for several hours when you decide to assemble and setup this tree because it does take up a good chunk of time. Fluffing took a solid hour for me and I'm still not fully done, about 20% left. At the end, however all the hard labor bears fruit because when all the steps have been accomplished, the tree looks SPECTACULAR and almost real. When in full sunlight, you can tell this is an artificial tree but when it starts getting dark, this tree looks like a real tree whether lit or unlit! I'm attaching 5 different pictures of the tree from the time we received it in a box to complete setup, although as I mentioned before, I still have some fluffing left. I also took a picture of the hinges holding the branches, which is interesting. Overall this turned out to be a great tree for the price I paid and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an artificial but well-made tree and definitely get it if it's on sale! 5 stars. Did not include directions on assembly, which we did not like! But it was easy to assemble and looks very nice. All parts included and fully lit tree. Perfect height for our needs. True to size. Nicely packaged as well and easy to open.

Just set it up. Still need to fluff and arrange branches before decorating. Loved that it came with lights already on. However, there were a couple places that didn’t have much lights. All in all it was pretty simple to assemble. It didn’t come with directions. But I watched a video about setting it up. The only thing I do not care for is that it looks fuller on the top portion of the tree, more than the bigger lower part. I plan to spend a little more time adjusting branches. Hopefully that will help. Other than that, I love the tree. It’s the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. I also like the stand and how easy it is to put together. Great tree at a reasonable price. Especially since I will have for many years. I definitely recommend this tree. ... show more

    • Beautiful, but poor quality and poor customer service

I have to preface this by saying that I have not posted a negative review for any product. This is my first... We purchased this tree in October 2013 and put it up after Thanksgiving. It really is a beautiful tree, so it was extremely disappointing when 3 entire sections of lights went out a few days before we took it down -- the weekend after the New Year holiday. We only turned the tree on in the evening--it was not on 24x7. My husband tried to replace the fuse, but that did not seem to work. In addition, there were not nearly enough replacement bulbs included in the box for us to replace all the bulbs that burned out. The tree was under warranty, so I was able to send it back for repair. However, customer service leaves something to be desired. They were slow to respond, so the process was a lengthy one; one of the reps was rude and never followed up as she indicated she would. I had to continue to call and leave several messages and emails. When I finally spoke with someone who could coordinate the Fed Ex pickup (to send the tree back for repair), they never followed through and failed to contact Fed Ex. I had lugged that tree out to the porch by myself and then when no one picked it up, I had to drag it back into the house. Long story short, one more week lapsed before I could have the tree picked up. We got the tree back in the spring and did not take it out of the box to test it since we were getting ready for a move across country. I was surprised when we put it up after Thanksgiving that it worked...but only for 2 days. Then the entire top section of lights went out. I reached to customer service to advise them of a defective tree. It lasted one Christmas season with minimal use. Customer service did not even respond to my emails or calls. ~ So Disappointed ... show more

I’m VERY particular about my Christmas trees. We had a huge one that was damaged in the Louisiana floods so bought a smaller one last year to which I do love but it wasn’t tall enough. Bought one of these early and it was lost in transit. Amazon really stepped up to help me get a new one ASAP. I never decorate this early but I truly needed it this year. Put it up myself and decorated it myself!! Easy and all the lights worked. I usually add lights every year but not with this tree. Can’t say enough of how fabulous it looks. If you’re a crafty decorator then this is for you. I’m not and put up my kid’s handmade ornaments for sentimental value. This tree fluffed up easily and even our adult kids were surprised I already had it up myself. Now we are traditional as well so will have our hot chocolate listening to Elvis. This year was unique as everyone is away in school until Christmas so wanted to do something special for my family. Hey I want my kids to come home to visit!! You will love this tree and be surprised with the value. Merry Christmas early!! Excuse the room as we still haven’t finished it up after the flood. ... show more
