This tree looks very realistic, and not "thin" in the leaf department, like so many other artificial trees. Ours is in front of the window. Yes, you can see light through it, but it's not "Charlie Brown" and skeletal-looking like our last artificial tree was. The widest part of the tree at the bottom is a little over 4 feet in diameter (maybe 4 1/2).There are ample lights so I didn't feel the need to buy extra strings, and it's very easy to put together. Branches are wire on the interior, so they can be spread out for the holidays and then "squished" back together when it's time to put it all away. A word of caution...you'll probably get a little scratched up reaching in to open up branches. The branches are sturdy for heavier ornaments, though you might consider putting them a little "deeper" in the branches for extra support if they're very heavy (just as you would on a live tree). It comes in a rather large, unwieldy box that has no handles or punch-outs to hold and carry it. However, you could probably purchase an oversize plastic container on wheels for it instead. The longest section is about 3 1/2 - 4 feet, but it's bulky. We decided to keep the original box for storage. You MUST fold all the branches back together for storage or it will not fit in the original box. I would save the twine that came with the tree too, just to keep the branches folded up for storage. This is our second year with the tree, and I only had to replace one bulb. This was a HUGE win for us because our last pre-lit tree took up 2-3 hours of our time, just replacing bulbs every year because so many would burn out at a time that entire strings would be out. The base of the tree is very sturdy and has metal cross-arms with three pins/keys you thread in around the base of the tree. This one won't fall over! It seems very durable. No "leaves" in the bottom of the box when we took it out this year. We expect to keep this one for many years.

Update: Still great. I saw someone posted about the bulbs. My tree did come with the blues and greens. It has the full spectrum. Beautiful tree, just wish it had a twinkling option. Some branches were broken or about to break. Top will only hold an extremely light topper-nothing over a few ounces and it doesn’t have much by way of lights on the topper area. We had to fanagle it a bit to make the topper we got not topple over and it wasn’t heavy. The tree takes a long time to fluff, so those reviews that state it takes hours aren’t kidding. This is because it has a lot of branches unlike the sparse trees. It’s important to realize most branches are a set of three, so they can be stretched apart a bit to fill in gaps. It’s a beautiful tree and it’s HUGE-tall and wide. Make sure you know what 7.5 feet looks like in your house. It’s different than a retail store space. I only hope the branches last since some were loose or disconnected (only about five totally disconnected). Also, it’s heavy.

I'm impressed with this tree! It's 7 1/2 ft. tall and the branches go down to about a foot from the floor. All the lights work and are evenly spaced out. I'm very happy. I've always had and love a real tree but, I wanted to have an option. It isn't easy to choose an artificial tree since there are so many varieties. I decided on this one because the price was good, it is pre-lit and from the reviews. It was very easy to put up! One tip that I would offer is to arrange and seperate each layer of branches before putting it all together and then trying to adjust all of these branches. It is a very full tree! It looks realistic! Taking your time to do this, one layer at the time, not only makes it easier with the end results it makes it really fill out!

We’ve had this tree for five years now, and I thought I’d write a review. The good: I LOVE the shape. It has kind of a bell shape to it, and is nice and full. It takes a while to fluff, and for some reason there’s one hole with no branches covering it, but overall it looks beautiful. The tips are plentiful and easily posed, and hold up even the heaviest ornaments well. It’s super easy to set up. The 7.5ft height is perfect. The bad: Only two things. 1, You can see the pole, which I hate. I wish it had more of the needle garland built onto it for camouflage (there is some, just not enough). 2, Most of the lights no longer work. My husband spent many hours replacing bulbs last year, only to have them all burn out again. To be fair, we have our tree lights on about 14 hours a day. I love the look of incandescent lights, but I might have to make the LED switch after this. We had to put six strings of lights on it this year. Overall: I would absolutely recommend this tree. It’s beautiful and has held up really well, minus the lights. I will probably buy the same one again when it’s time. Next time I will get the one that switches from white to multicolored!

Haven't put up a tree since 2015. Now that I have a granddaughter, I need to be responsible again. The tree didn't look promising at first. I did plug it in after assembly to make sure all the lights work. I had 1 strand that didn't light up. My son found the broken light and exposed wires. He used an electrical cap on it after doing his magic, now all the lights work. I'd say it took 1.5 hors to fluff the tree out. I think it looks beautiful. Now to add the decorations.

When I bought this in December 2016, it was my first artificial tree, and I was pleased and surprised with how natural it looked. The lights were adequate in number and make a very pretty tree. The only negative at the time was that it took a very long time to spread the branches to give it that natural appearance. Altogether I probably spent close to three hours 'fluffing' the branches. The reviewers who recommended gloves for that task are spot-on. Don't try it without gloves and long sleeves. Consider eye protection too when you go to connect the wiring between sections. The branches are not sharp enough to actually cut you, but definitely enough to irritate your skin and make for an unpleasant task. Given how long it takes to arrange the branches, be sure to plug in each section before you start. You really don't want to find out you have a defective unit after spending hours getting the branches fluffed. (This did not happen to me; mine worked fine but I felt like a fool when I went to plug in the middle unit and realized I'd already spent close to two hours that would have been wasted if the middle unit didn't work.) Besides, it is really easier to do the fluffing of the branches when the lights are on; you can more easily see if there are spots that need more lights. There's no way I'd want to spend this much time every year, so I consider myself lucky to have a very large garage where I can store the tree 'as is' without trying to break it down and compress it back into the box it came in. Not sure that's even possible! EDIT TWO YEARS LATER: When I set the tree up for Christmas 2018 (skipped one year because of being out of town), one of the light strings was not working. Since I could turn that part of the tree into a corner, I didn't bother to figure out what was wrong. Three weeks later -- literally three days after the two year warranty on lights expired -- two or three more strings had failed and so the tree is missing lights for the entire top part and a wide swath around the middle. All the connections are good, so the easy answer is not the right one. From the troubleshooting instructions online, it looks like, most likely, each of those strings will need fuses replaced in the plugs. (Each plug requires two 3 amp, 125 volt fuses.) On a fully decorated tree, this is not the easiest task. For this year, I'll just be taking the tree down (a week earlier than I would have liked to), and I'll do the fuse replacement as I go, if for no other reason that to make sure that IS the problem. My suggestion would be to buy a five- or 20-pack of the fuses to have on hand if you buy this tree, and test the lights before setting up the tree, since it's easier to work with in pieces than once fully assembled. Assuming replacing the fuse solves the problem, I'm still not sorry I purchased it, because it really does look good, but I'm tempted to take away another star. Honestly, I don't know what is realistic to expect in regard to fuses handling the load for a tree like this. It was stored in an unheated and unairconditioned garage, but our climate is not very humid even in the worst of the summer, so we should not be dealing with corrosion on the contacts. FINAL EDIT: Replacing fuses is not as easy as it sounds. No local electrical store (including Home Depot) carried the right (very tiny) fuses, so they had to be ordered online. Once they arrived, it was lucky that I had a small jewelry repair kit because without the tiny screwdriver from that kit, there would be no way to get out the old fuses and especially to get in the new ones. And new fuses did not fix the problem. The lights from the sections that have gone dark do not respond to replacing the fuses. There's no discernible damage to anything, there's no corrosion, there's just no light. So we got one year of fully operational use out of this tree and one year of partial use, and it is now worthless as a pre-lit tree. It is still a pretty tree, and I suppose I can haul out some of my old lights and "fill-in" but at the price-point of this tree, that's not what I was paying for. I would not buy it again.

11/2018 - I really like this tree, it resembles our old tree which I got from Frontgate many years ago. High quality realistic looking branches. 11/29/21 UPDATE- Ok so we've used this tree for three Christmas' now and as much as I liked it initially, it really isn't all that! This year we have a light string out! That shouldn't happen this soon! Not to mention the branches just don't quite fill-in in the center like one would think they should. My wife and I set up this tree in a full Bay Window and the light outside shines straight through it and you can see the pole in the middle and see outside looking through it. It just isn't full enough and we fluff it as much as possible. We are now looking at other trees...

Ordered this yesterday, received it today. More than pleased with the quality of the tree. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble the 3 pieces into the base and another 2 hours (by myself) to "floof" out all of the branches and individual stems. This would certainly go much quicker with another person helping. The tree looks pretty full. You can see through to the center pole and various wires and plugs if you really go up close but from a foot or two away it appears full. The lights are not LED (which I like) and the colors (blue, green, orange/yellow, reddish pink, and pinkish purple) remind me of the colored lights from my childhood (70's/80's). I took the green tape off of the interior plugs/connections that were holding them together because the tape was bright green and I thought I'd see it. Sort of regret doing so because the plugs/connections feel like they could come apart if I were to twist the tree or pull on the wiring. Overall, a really good tree for the money. I'm pleased given the fact that I've never owned an artificial tree and wasn't quite sure what to expect.
