Made to look and feel lifelike, the stunning realism of the tree is defined by its close attention to detail, featuring hundreds of individually crafted branch tips that make up the wide, full-bodied branches that create space for your lights and ornaments. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. The lights on the tree are a mess of wires. Each section has its own light strand, but each strand only has one plug so they can't be attached to each other and all three have to be plugged into the wall. It's also not as full as the picture shows.

This easy to assemble small tree is perfect for on top of our coffee table in our 1929 Tudor Cottage home. It does not encroach into the space, therefore, we have no difficulty walking around it (like we did with our previous artificial tree). We loved the price. People complaining about this little tree’s appearance perhaps should have simply spent a little more time separating out its little branches and tucking in the cords? The first photo is “After,” the second photo is “Before/During.” Additional fluffing occurred between the “Before and After.” UPDATE: Added photo of our 2021 version. We’ve owned an artificial tree before, and they always require fluffing out the branches after it comes out of the shipping/storage box. So no big deal. The tree’s branches’ greenery indeed isn’t dense, but we like that fact, because we can actually hang our ornaments in between them without having to manipulate branches constantly. We like that there’s no sticky tree sap, watering, pine needle shedding, disposal... Also, we personally don’t like the idea of sacrificing the life of a living tree to honor Christ’s birth. If the strings of lights burn out and can’t be repaired, they appear to be easy enough to simply remove and put some new strings on. We are happy and plan to enjoy this little tree for years to come. ... show more

    • A cheap Chinese tree that looks cheap

Based on the positive reviews I went ahead and purchased, but am sorry that I did. Was hoping for a classy rustic country style tree that could be put in the corner and kept up year round but this was a disappointment in so many ways. First, it took a good while to receive so don't expect to see it anytime soon. It looks like it was designed by someone who has never seen an actual evergreen tree, and then proceeded to cut corners to make as cheap as possible. The branches are made of low quality materials. Tthere are 3 sections which are lit, but all of which have several feet of wire at the ends so that one ends up with lots of wire rolled up inside the tree to connect together Some lights were not working out of the box, which is a bad sign since tree lights are notoriously subject to failure, and if it can't work out of the box would not expect it to last any length of time. Finally the stand is just an ugly flat metal plate, and the tree is very sparse at the bottom. One would really need to buy a planter to sit the base in so that looks acceptable. Am returning to Amazon due to the lights. ... show more

I am very disappointed with this purchase. Granted I was not expecting the world with a $47 tree but still, I expected more. It went together easily but the lights don’t connect from one section to another so you end up with a very visible jumbled mess of cords. The branches are flimsy and there is not even a section at the top to put up a tree topper so I had to rig one with wire. Basically, the tree is a hot mess and not at all cute like the pictures. Unfortunately I cannot find a substitute in time for several celebrations at my home coming up so it will have to stay, but it will not make a return appearance next year. ... show more

I spent an enormous amount of time shopping for trees, so brace yourself for a long review. As you can see, the tree doesn’t look much like the picture on amazon, but that is determined by your dedication to “fluffing.” I pulled the branches straight out to make room for ornaments, hence the bare spots. To get a more tapered, traditional look, angle the top branches down, as I did in the second photo. If you are not putting ornaments on the tree, angle all the branches down for a fuller look. Also pour yourself a glass of wine when you do this. This is an essential step and should not be skipped. The tree was smaller than I expected. I felt it looked awkward on the ground, but it fits perfectly on the end table and would probably look good in a small corner. I would recommend 6ft and up if you are planning to put this directly on the ground. It’s also VERY light, so if you have kids/pets/glass ornaments, definitely put it up on a table, or get a larger tree with more weight to it. Biggest issue with the tree as another reviewer mentioned, is the lights only have one business end, so cannot be strung together, in logical fashion, but plugged at the base. I wanted to string my own lights, but this one was cheaper. Overall, nice bang for your buck and perfect tree for small spaces. ... show more

The 3 ft size is just right for my fireplace mantel. It was somewhat easy to set up except the lights on one of the trees were put on backwards not allowing me to put the top and bottom of the tree together with out restringing them. Still not a big issue. My biggest complaint is the tree is not as full as the image. You have to adjust the branches but if you try to adjust to much it loses it shape and looks even thinner The center stem and base are metal and the center stem is covered with some bark looking material. The top stem connects with a square shaped piece so it stays together really good. Overall for the price its a decent tree just not as pictured. ... show more
