OK, so here we are. I've ordered TWO of these because our 25+ year-old trees had finally had enough. We had always had an issue with the old trees, as they had the cheaper branch assembly where it was supposed to fit the hex-shaped end into a hex-shaped hole. Over the years, they became round holes, and the branches lost most of their bristles. So I reviewed and read and studied, looking for a skinny, pre-lit, 7.5' tree with LEDs and white/colored bulbs. I found no more than 3. So here's my review... Upon opening the box, I found the claims of the tree being 'thin' to be true. But let's think about this. If you took a cross-country trip in the back seat of a 1972 Camaro, and you never got out, how cramped would you be after 48 hours? So let's look at this tree. It's been jammed into a tiny box for weeks or months. It needs to be 'fluffed'...in the non-movies way. I stood it up and had it lit up in less than 3 minutes from box to board. However, upon initial assembly, it does somewhat resemble a 12-year-old anorexic Ethiopian tennis player--it's very thin and spindly. So I set about my mission--to get this thing fluffed up. I started at the top, pulling the branches down, straightening them out, and spreading them as they were meant to be spread out. It's almost a 'starburst' method on the branches. The top was just a random 'pull down and put in place'. After 30 minutes of this mind-numbing action, I found the tree to be quite attractive...and quite full. Sure, the wiring was haphazard, and some of it had gotten tangled. So what? The branches are malleable wire. I was able to put the wiring where I wanted it and twist the branch tip around it where I wanted it. Wires are still visible. Such is life. Look at any tree with less than 5000 tips and you'll see wires. This tree has about 1250 tips--it's not thick, lush, or dense. The tree's shape and size is literally in the name--SLIM. If you want an ornament-free tree that hides most of the wires and will be free of any decorations at all...this ain't the one. But for those of us who choose to hang every homemade ornament from our kids since 1987, along with the balls and garland and all the other stuff...this is plenty dense enough. The tree's size is accurate. We measured out a 35" space, and it fits perfectly. The worst part of the entire tree, from top to bottom, is the little wobbly piece on the very top that you shove up the angel's posterior portions. Do I care? Nope. When I jam it up the angel's dress, it's well-covered and well-purposed. Lighting is dispersed well throughout, and the 10-function remote is cool! It does need a timer, as stomping the control a half-dozen times to turn it off/on would tend to lead to failure much more quickly than if you have it on a timer. But plenty of options, with twinkly white, twinkly colored, pastels, fade in/fade out, steady on...it's great! And we have one tree that's white-only lighting and one that's color-only. Since the trees are matched, we don't have to keep track of which is which. We just stomp until our lights are where we want them. For those giving negative reviews because it's thin, anemic, scrawny, not bushy, etc...you didn't try hard enough. As for the lighting being hinky, it did take a pull-shove to get the top section to light up on one tree. Again--part of learning the tree. This isn't like that new car you buy where 17 people take care of the detailing, the oil change, the fuel, and cleaning the windows. This one requires a little effort on your part to spread the branches, place the lighting and wiring, and the biggest trick--a small 'twist' between sections to fill in the gaps between the sections. Line them up in a staggered fashion and you're good! I can assure you it's worth the effort. Santa will be pleased with this one and leave a new Hellcat in the driveway for my efforts. There is absolutely nothing I dislike about this tree. With that said here we go. Set up was so simple. I slipped the tree together and it lit right up. There are probably not as many lights on it as they say. But there are plenty. It has three different sets of colored lights. But they are in the same light so each light is actually each color and switch from color to color. Check out the video I posted with this review. If you don't think this tree is worth it. Try a Walmart tree then you will think otherwise. Get this tree and enjoy!! I read review after review. Ordered and canceled several times. But I can say the size is perfect for me and I have no regrets. I'm glad I splurged. I hope it lasts for years to come. Update: Year #2 Still working well. Like the different settings for the lights. I put a piece of plywood under it this year. The carpet makes it wobble. I also tied it to the wall with a command hook. I was prepared for some of the branches to come loose. Didn't happen. Slim tree with good branches, good fullness once fluffed, realistic and not too cheap. Lights are good, multicolor features are nice. Order a little taller than you think since the measurement is with top branch extended straight up.

Perfect tree for the corner in my living room! Take the time to fluff out the branches & you’ll be glad u did! Looks very full when done. 3 pieces attach easily & no plugging in the lights of each section, the inside of the pole is where the lights connect. So many options for the lights! I have always put a ton of lights on my prior tree (which was unlit) so I was concerned I might think that this tree wasn’t bright enough. Wrong! Perfectly bright. After the season we plan on just taking the ornaments off, disconnecting the 3 pieces, carry it in the basement, reconnecting & putting in the corner. That way I never have to fluff the branches again & hopefully this keeps the lights last longer. LOVE THIS TREE! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! ... show more

    • Not Worth the Money!

I am very disappointed with this tree. For the price I paid, I expected the ultimate in quality but the tree is quite flimsy as compared to other artificial trees that I have owned. The worst part is that there is no way to connect a top piece to the top of the tree. The branches can't be used because they are too flimsy. They supply a recepticle near the top to connect a lighted top piece but it is not a standard 120v connection so it can't be used with standard top pieces. Now I will have to run a lead up through the tree to light a top piece and I will have to rig up system to support that top piece. The lights look nice but we could have gotten the same or better for about half the price. I feel ripped off! ... show more

We purchased this tree knowing it would almost touch the ceiling and it didn't disappoint. Due to a busy schedule we didn't have time to decorate much but we enjoyed the tree as it was really full and has tons of lights on it. It was the perfect tree for the price and got here quicker than promised. It has nine different settings for the lights and colors and it also blinks in those different settings or stays solid or rotates. Very easy to put together and very easy to store. I highly recommend it. So far so good on durability. ... show more

Love this tree. We have ALWAYS had a real tree, but decided to go the artificial route this year. I did a lot of research before choosing this one. It’s great in our high ceiling room. The slim tree is just the size I wanted. Not too skinny, but full enough. Very easy to assemble. It does take a good deal of “fluffing” to get the branches spread out. The lights are great. We are using the multi-colors most of the time. Sometimes the white. Looking for a good way to keep the cord up off the floor so our iRobot doesn’t eat it. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would buy this tree again. ... show more

I feel that for the price, this tree was very skimpy- NOTHING as the picture makes it look. Allot of spacing in between branches. I was Almost sick when I set it up (Just to see what it looked like.) It’s still upsetting. Would Not recommend this tree if you expect to have a fuller tree. Sorry. Look at the picture. Does t it look like the branches are full? Not even close. In fact, I’m too embarrassed to put the tree up this year, so I’m on the search for another tree. Upsetting! ... show more
