The media could not be loaded. It's my first year getting a artificial Christmas tree I didn't know what to expect. After doing a lot of research in the reviews I decided to go for this one. I got a 6.5 ft and it's just perfect for my apartment. It was so easy to assemble it, between me and my 8 year old daughter did in less than an hour. It was definitely worth my money and my research. I got this tree during black Friday weekend for $93 plus taxes. Delivery was about a week but it was worth the wait. One only thing I didn't like was that the top was very thin and wouldn't hold my star tree topper. I had to get one from the dollar store (very light weight topper) and still struggled for it to stay, I ended up putting a sturdy stick to hold it. I’ve given this some thought, As I wanted the review to be based on facts and not my deep feelings of disappointment with the product. Starting at the bottom, the stand is extremely thin and flimsy-don’t think pipe size, think more like smoothie-straw-size tubing, and does not “set” in place when it’s opened. The smallest accidental bump makes it collapse into a flat piece, tipping the tree over. Going up from there, the first two layers of branches are extremely sparse, to the point of wondering if they missed a whole layer. They didn’t. The wire arms are very, very visible, even after an hour spent meticulously fluffing the tree. There are huge gaps and holes with nothing there to be fluffed to fill the void. Adding lights to the tree only lit up those holes and made them even more obvious. The tip is extremely flimsy and will not hold up even a light star. The metal armature is visible throughout the tree regardless of fluffing, except for the very top where there are no metal arms, but the branches are the top are all the exact same size, which gives a very bad look to it, with no shorter branches to fill in and make the tree look like, a tree. The “needles”, despite the faulty item photo, are NOT the rounded, realistic-looking needles-they are flat, flimsy, and shed right out of the box. If your reason for going with a faux tree is to miss all the shedding real trees do on your floors-go with the real tree. At least the needles they shed won’t be a health hazard for your curious cat or golden retriever, who will eat them in both cases. The arms of the branches are all exactly the same length, which along with the flat needles, contributes to a very fake look. There isn’t even an effort being made to make this tree look real or halfway realistic. The size of the tree is great as far as footprint, however, that is the only positive sentence about it that I can muster. I wanted to give a faux tree a try, but this tree is definitely a huge miss and a disappointment. Will be returning it. Perhaps falsely advertising a “huge sale, half-price” special (on a tree that is not worth even the so-called slashed price) set up my expectations too high. ... show more

This tree is beautiful. Many of the negative reviews are because people have no clue how to fill out an artificial tree. The top piece branches need to be pulled down. They are not hinged, they are thick, bendable wires and once pulled down, they flow with the rest of the tree. On the mid and bottom sections, the back part of the branch should be pulled up to fill out the gaps. It does take awhile but all artificial trees do in order to make them look real. This is really a beautiful tree and totally worth the purchase. ... show more

Tree looks pretty good - I was pleasantly surprised. Takes a little time to put together and to bend out all the branches to make it look nice. It was fairly sturdy. My cat liked to play under it and pull down toys, but it never toppled. Easy to dismantle to put back in box for storage.
