I got this for my daughter’s 8th birthday. It is an amazing kit! We learned all about rocks and fossils as we identified them together. Her favorites: the fossils, shark teeth, and meteorite. We got a great variety, including some fossils we identified using Google lens (ray tooth and sea biscuit). Highly recommend for any kid! (Note: it looks like we got two unopened geodes that we will break open later.) ... show more

Used this product to make individual mining bags for our rv camping trip with the three grands. The rv park had a mining station set up where they were each able to mine every day of the three days we were there. They were so excited each time with all their finds!
