Personally I thought that the rocks and other pieces were much too small, but I guess I should have suspected that giving the size of the box and claimed quantity. We recently got the National Geographic rock collection for my nephews, and they absolutely loved it! 🪨✨ The variety of rocks and gemstones is so cool, and it’s a great hands-on way for kids to learn while having fun. They were so excited that they spread the entire collection all over the floor to sort and examine every single piece. It kept them entertained for hours! The only downside? It took forever to pick everything up afterward 😅 But honestly, seeing how engaged and curious they were made the cleanup totally worth it. You do get a geode with it to open yourself, use newspapers or maybe crack it outside, itll get chips and dust everywhere. My child really liked the set. He likes to look at the rocks and trades with his friends. Lots of fun! The only thing I did not like is the magnifying glass - it magnifies but does not give a good picture: actually it is uncomfortable for eyes to look through it, so he does not use it.
