The 'tracks' that the marbles run along are not quite wide enough and they don't stay on the metal board very well. The set looks great and promising but fails. I find the pieces flimsy. Very disappointed, especially since it was this brand.

This was about our 6th National Geographic kit. Should have learned from the 1st 5. None of the kits we have purchased were easy to assemble or use. We usually end up throwing them away. This was bought for an 8yr old. The adults had issues, I don't expect him to be able to do it easily. The bendable tracks do not stay on the magnets leading to much frustration. The marble maze pieces are awesome and challenge my granddaughters to think about the ways they can use the pieces to keep the marble rolling down. They have come up with very well done maze set ups that run 4 feel from top to bottom. They then start building a different maze! Nana's and other adults love to help! Great STEM project.

The media could not be loaded. For the price of this, I thought they would’ve had larger magnetic boards but beyond accounting for the space that they limit your play to the amount and type of pieces they give you are pretty neat.
