My kid absolutely loves this marble run. He is always asking to play with it. He is younger than the suggested age so it ends up being a family activity, but he still thoroughly enjoys himself with it. We got the small pack with 80 pieces and it's just fine for right now. As my kids get older, I could see getting expansions to accommodate their expanding minds. I feel like we made a good call with this one. The kit comes with a bag to put the pieces in but not a smaller bag for the marbles, which I would have liked since the little box they came in did not last very long. Also, I noticed one of our pieces had a crack in it and we haven't had the set for more than a week at this point. I will say, we've got a rogue toddler-zilla so I wouldn't say it's a purchasing deterrent unless you also find yourself set upon but tiny masters of destruction. ... show more
