Have purchased twice. I bought one for grandaughter who was nine and another for a developmentally disabled adult. It's a great project that takes some time to complete but you can do it over a couple days and the stones are keepers. Have a sweeper ready because it does make a bit of a mess but well worth the fun and conversation you'll have during your mining.

My son LOVES rocks and had so much fun digging up and finding the rocks. I do have to say that I was a little disappointed by the rocks though because they were definitely not as in the picture on the box. Some of them were very small and some didn’t even really look like one of the samples. But my son still had fun, so I’d rate it 4 stars

Awesome activity to share with your little. My son loved finding each gem. He’s only 6 so don’t let the age stop you. Highly recommend digging outside because of the mess. Didn’t take more then 30 minutes to get all 10.
