I love this TV stand it doesn’t come assembled, but I assembled it myself so easily and I have never even have held a screwdriver before so it was super easy. There is so many instructions that are so easy to read. Everyone that comes over says and comments how adorable it is how cute and simple it is. I really love the color and style of this TV stand. I do wish it was wider but I did read the dimensions on the product description and still choose to purchase it despite the size. It wasn't the easiest to put together and the parts weren't labeled very clearly (though at least they were labeled). There was an allen wrench included but most of the assembly required a phillips head screw driver which is not included. The main reason why it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the inconsistent panel gaps. The two doors have very different gaps where they meet the frame and it's quite obvious in person. All that being said a friend of mine commented on how nice it is and was really impressed when I told him how much I paid for it, so I still consider this a good purchase and it definitely fits well in the space I have. I’m really happy with this purchase, it’s such good value for the money. It’s a really chic upgrade from my former TV console and was fairly simple to assemble - it took time but the instructions we’re accurate and very thorough. I was able to do it myself in about 2hrs. I’m really satisfied with the way it turned out. It’s definitely very sturdy, not flimsy or cheap looking at all. Much better quality than something from IKEA or Wayfair in this price range. This is the second Nathan James piece of furniture I purchased and I highly recommend. No one will ever think you found it on Amazon (not that it matters), point is it looks much more expensive. Also, LOVE the color of this wood, it’s a pale natural oak color, very understated and the caning on the doors is just so good. If you’re on the fence, just do it and add to cart now! ... show more

I bought this cabinet to hold our media equipment and DVD’s. I loved the cane style doors and the color of the “wood”. My husband was able to put it together in about 1 hour. It did not come with instructions, but we were able to located them online through this page. Once set up, we noticed the doors were sticking on the top inside corners. I contacted Nathan James. They answered the phone, were extremely friendly and wanted to make sure they dealt with the issue I was having. I was immediately sent an email with a possible fix. Unfortunately, the fix wasn’t for the product I had. I called again on weekend. Once I heard they were closed I decided to hang up and call on the next business day. They next day I had a call from them stating they saw they missed my call and wanted to check to see if there was anyway they could help me out. I followed up and was told to send pics of the issue so they could send that to their tech team. I had an email the next day with a fix for my issue. We were able to make the adjustments and the problem was solved! I had a follow up email checking to make sure I was able to get it fixed. I have NEVER had such impeccable customer service. I would highly recommend their products. I am so pleased with this product and will be ordering more from them in the future. ... show more

    • Amazing piece of furniture, but lengthy delays

Okay so this is my honest opinion of this product. I went to put it together and hardware was missing. I contacted Amazon, asked them if they could send the missing hardware. They told me I could either send it back or buy the missing hardware myself and hope it works. They gave me money back because I decided that was what I was going to do because I did not want to have to try to put everything back into the box and send it back. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it because it’s not one of their brands. I received the hardware I ordered, and found out it wasn’t going to work. I ended up contacting Nathan James and they told me that they would send me a new hardware kit so that I could put it together. Claire was super nice, and I received the hardware in a little over a week. The console is beautiful, but it is a pain in the ass to put together. Not impossible, just a lot of pages and making sure that you have the right piece. I am a pro-IKEA assembler so I thought this was going to be a piece of cake. In my opinion, it was really rough having all the pieces of my console sprawled out on my floor for a couple weeks but the company is incredibly nice and it’s the perfect piece of furniture for my home. So it was worth it, but keep this in mind before purchasing this piece. If the furniture is damaged, it’s on Amazon not the company. If it’s missing pieces, you need to contact Nathan James but they are very responsive and will help you out as fast as possible. ... show more
