We bought these for our cabin so the kids would have a place to sit at our island overhang but weren't obnoxiously large/don't draw attention. We purchased 3 and 2 arrived in perfect condition. One arrived in what appeared to be new condition but had a stain on the seat and wobbled a bit. Must have had a tough go in the factory. I reached out to customer service (Nathan James) instead of Amazon, because I had little desire to deal with that. I was hoping to possibly get a replacement leg or something and they requested photos showing the issues (no problem with me). Once they saw the stool they determined they didn't have parts but simply sent a new stool, which arrived in perfect condition. The stools themselves are really comfortable and I also enjoy hanging out on them- something I wasn't expecting. They seem to be sturdy (we've only had them a couple weeks) and they spot clean well (yea.. kids). The color of the legs really changes depending on the lighting at the time. I included a photo of the stool sitting in the sun vs in the middle of the kitchen out of direct light with warm light above the island. Our cabinets are an older cherry. I ordered 2 of the dark brown and gray bar stools. When they arrived they had shipped the wrong color. I called customer support and they were extremely helpful in getting the right ones to me. Even told me to keep or donate the ones I had been shipped no need to pack up and return. The bar stools they sent as a replacement came quickly and the quality is great. Fabric is nice on the seat and looks stylish. very easy to assemble, but the screws do not fit in well, and you really have to use different tools to put the stool together and the screws that attach the legs to the seat maneuver very easily however, the other screws that have to put in to assemble. The last version of this stool I bought was 12" in depth instead of the 13" it is now, so it sticks out a little from under the kitchen island counter hangover, but it's not a huge deal. Looks great, feels great... so far!! If it still is this comfy in a year I'll come back and give it 5 stars!
