I’m a fan of Nathan James furniture. I have a couple of their pieces and they are well-made and trendy. So my four star review has nothing to do with craftsmanship, but rather the representation of it. I didn’t even take this chair out of the box. As soon as I opened the flap I was disappointed. The color is nothing like what is pictured online. I get colors can be off. But this is full on brown, not the lighter shade of brown/gray that is pictured. And in case an NJ employee is reading this, the components were not bagged. They were loose so washers and screws were spilling out of the box when I opened it. ... show more

You get what you pay for although this price is almost at the point where I would expect a more comfortable chair. It’s darker than the picture and I knew that from another review w a photo. Easy to assemble but the “cushion” isn’t soft. It’s hard. The footrest is too high, for my long legs. I am on a tight budget so I thought these were a good solution but I am going to return because no one will enjoy sitting in them. Bummer. ... show more

they send different chairs , one of them came more dark color and fabric color , one of them the cushion is damage and the dark one the cushion is more height. we love them but they don’t make the wood to match with the other ones.

He told me to keep the existing chair in case the replacement was missing a piece and to use what I needed to assemble the chair. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable.
