So i get it its great i love that its shear and buildable its the right color and its not too heavy! The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation is my go-to foundation in the evening. I sometimes use it during the day, too, but always with a damp makeup sponge to keep it sheer and light. But with a dry sponge or my foundation brush ( Sigma Beauty Flat Kabuki - F80 )-- my all-time makeup secret--it's a dream come true. It's provides intense coverage, a great, even coloring and for Asian skin like mine with olive and yellow undertones, it creates a flawless look that is camera-ready. I use the color "Punjab" but keep in mind that I'm quite dark-skinned for a Korean. But this particular one requires no neck-blending because it's just perfect in coloring. I have 3-4 regular foundations I keep on hand for different purposes -- like one for days when I know I'll be photographed (Chanel!) and others for outdoor activities or events where I know I'll get hot, and another where I want to look as natural as possible, or when I feel like my skin looks pretty outstanding on its own, a BB cream. And then the NARS. Of those four, the NARS is probably my most versatile in that what tool I use to apply it can easily make it more or less, depending on my needs. I highly recommend it. You' ll just need to experiment a little with color. Personally, if I guess and I'm off by a little, I just mix with a foundation of the right color to blend it to the ideal color, so no big deal. I have plenty that are a little too dark, or a little too light, and that's what I keep those for! I just wish the cover was usable with the pump that I bought with it! Alas, it's not, so the pump stays exposed--which isn't such a big deal but ideally, I could put a cover over that pump. Oh, and a little secret for those of you with oily skin like me: a few spritzes of this item below along with NARS Sheer Glow and a fresh application of Ben Nye Banana Powder--and you can leave your compact powder at home for a full day without an ounce of shine. Very light coverage but can be built up. It doesn’t sit heavily on the skin. I am incredibly pale. The lightest shade always has an orange tone that looks terrible on me. But SIBERIA matches me better than any other foundation I’ve worn. I will definitely buy again.

Oh my goodness, how I love this foundation. It is truly a wonder. I have extremely fair skin and have searched for years to find a shade to match my skin. After doing some research, I found Siberia, the lightest shade in this foundation. Voila! A perfect match. Besides the excellent color match, I really like the formula. I have oily skin, so I was a bit wary at first, but it works with my skin really well! I just have to powder once later in the day. If you want a sheer to medium, but build-able coverage, then this foundation is perfect for you. I do have to conceal a bit more, but that's a small price to pay for a perfect match. It lets my skin show through and really does "glow" without shimmering or sparkling. This would be a five-star product if it weren't for the packaging. The cap would not line up evenly with the bottle after I opened it. Not a big deal, but something that irked me. I just removed the large part of the cap and use the small twist-top underneath. I wish that there was a pump! It's a big pain to pour the foundation out. I know that they sell a pump separately, but this stuff is pricey enough! These are very small qualms, though. This really is a terrific foundation and I urge you to try it! *Note: I did have some dry patches from treating a breakout, and the foundation looked pretty bad on those areas. I don't expect it to work miracles, but it really did emphasize the flakes and dryness. Something to keep in mind! ... show more

I love this foundation! I am so happy I decided to try NARS. NARS IS A GODSEND FOR MY SKIN!!!!! I had recently gone back and forth to MAC spending hundreds of dollars on their foundations and they broke me out severely.... Like large cystic acne, which is something that's pretty uncommon for my skin. I kept going back thinking well maybe if I try this type of foundation it won't break me out.. Boy, was I wrong... I am not sure what those people put in their foundations but.. My skin could not take it at all.. So... MAC is what brought me to NARS... And.. As soon as I stopped MAC and started using NARS on my skin the acne stopped. I've been using it about three days now and my skin it back to itself... I purchased NARS in Tahoe and I think it's safe to say it is equivalent to shade NC44 in MAC. NARS sheer glow is great for my dry skin. It keeps me hydrated and my skin feels so smooth and silky. It looks very natural and it isn't that thick in texture. It isn't heavy.. It feels very light yet gives medium coverage. Ummm.. The name of this foundation implies a "Sheer Glow" but honestly I don't find it to be sheer at all.. I was expecting it to be something like a tinted moisturizer but it isn't. I wouldn't call it sheer at all.. I mean, it feels sheer when you put it on but the coverage is definitely more than sheer, to me, that's a good thing. This foundation gives you a dewy finish and leaves my face moisturized.. It feels so natural! I love it! I will definitely purchase this product again. ... show more
