Get ready to modify it Right Away to use first time. it seems pretty well made and best thing I got it about $10. dollars off. It shipped fast and after receiving it I took it all out of the box that open, crushed and looked like it was a return instead of a new box, I just wonder if the other person had gotten it and did like I did try finding a way to put it together which I stopped and read some more reviews and I'm not the only one that has the same exact problem won't fit into the slots and man try to squeeze the tips together to insert them into the plate slots. Even my wife tried helping but when the slots are punched out wrong from the factory you're not going to get it to work so now send it back or do as others modify the plates. Works as advertised - no where on the page does it claim to fit a KJ Classic Joe. You'll need to cut about an inch off of the skewers to use it with your Joetisserie. Play with it before you have a roaring fire and the skewers loaded with food.

Used this on the large joetisserie. It required shortening of the skewers by about 1" and i achieved this with a angle grinder and a bench grinder to put a point back on. Less than 1 hour of work including cleanup time.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect! just put in disposable tray under and you and grill without even cleaning anything other then throwing the skewers into the dish washer!

    • You will have to adjust, the the clips at the end (To work at it's most optimized support)
Great Product, better then the rods, or bent rods to support the Kababs. with this setup, you can overload flat skewers and it is supported, so the meat does not rotate on the skewers or the skewer fall's off when rotating. Manufacture does not test the skewers, before sending it to you. So, please test the skewers in the slots for pentation and secureness. So the skewer has no way of falling out. This is the best design, I have seen so far. I recommend this product, over the others. Until someone makes a better design. If you do not do maintains on your product, you have no one to blame but yourself. I did my research before buying, I hope you do the same. ... show more
