I have the NANPU media blaster that is gravity feed only and doesn't include a suction feed. I'm a big fan of that unit and of the brand. When I saw they were offering a suction feed model I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. This is basically the exact same unit I already have but with a suction feed added to it. Which is good because the gravity feed unit is well made from quality components, especially given the price. My hope was that the suction feed would make it possible to do larger jobs as the gravity feed hopper is quite small. This unit delivered my hope. Setup is simple, attach the included quick-connect for your air in, attach the included rubber hose to the gun and the other end to a metal pipe that is used to stabilize the hose in your media. I used baking soda in a 5-gallon bucket with a lid. There is a small hole in the lid to push the pipe into, allowing me to keep my clean media clean. You need a pretty big compressor to run this blaster (or any blaster) as it's rated at 7.0 cfm at 90 psi. It seems to run best at around 120 psi though. It worked well and I was able to strip a lot of paint off of a project I'm working on quickly. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. The first is that the suction feed isn't entirely consistent. I found that part of the time I was getting a full amount of media and stripping quickly, part of the time I was getting less media and stripping slower, and part of the time I was getting no media and wasn't able to strip. I found that either shaking the gun or reseating the feed pipe would resolve the problem. It wasn't bad enough to make me not want to use the unit but it was a little annoying. The other was the manual. It looks like they took the exact manual for their gravity feed only unit and added two small pictures for this unit. The pictures illustrate how to turn the siphon on and off. The parts diagram doesn't even include the siphon components. It's easy enough to figure out how to use it but they really should update the manual. Still, it's a good unit at a good price considering you can use it as either a gravity feed or siphon unit.

This kit contains everything needed to “sand blast “ parts to remove paint or rust. As pictured: Gun with abrasive hopper, Heavy duty hose and double walled pickup tube for larger projects, spare nozzle fitting and two spare ceramic nozzles And O-rings, vented eye goggles ,gloves and air hose brass chuck fitting with Teflon tape. An instruction pamphlet details trouble shooting, operational safety, as well as media safety specially for sand and silicosis and aluminum oxide hazards. Ceramic ID diameter is 5 mm ; operating pressure is 90-150 psi at 7 cf/minute. The unit can blast with sand, silicone carbide, walnut shells, aluminum oxide, pumice, steel, glass, and soda.

Excited to use this. My son and I are working on his 1968 Impala and there are some areas we haven’t been able to get to with a resurfacing tools like sail panels, head liner area, trunk drop downs. Plan on getting some crushed walnut media to get going on cleaning that up.

You may not need to sand blast very often but when you do, you need a small portable sand blaster like this. Very easy to use and adjustable to use just the right amount of air and sand combination to do the job. Easily stripped old paint from a chair we are refinishing. Nice useful item for the price.

I have a ton of metal tools and things that have rusted and I had given up on trying to make them look good again until I got this thing. This is a great little sand blasting gun that you can use on any small items. I used it on some rusted pliers that I have. I used Black Beauty as the abrasive and connected it to my pancake compressor. It worked great. For small stuff, its a very handy thing to have. I did not use the suction feed, but rather kept filling the hopper. For what it is, I do think $50 is kind of steep for it though hence 4 stars.

I try my best to keep them well seasoned to prevent rust, but sometimes rust happens. This is exactly what I need to get rid of the rust.
