This is a super cute little desktop aquarium. It comes with everything you need to get started like a hang on the back filter, a light, and the aquarium itself. All you'll need is to purchase your substrate and decorations. The aquarium is small. Personally, I'm not even sure I'd use it for a betta tank (although I'm certain that's what it's being marketed as). I'd typically try and give a betta at least five gallons of water. For me, I think this aquarium is ideally suited to be a small quarantine tank when you need it, or would probably make a great shrimp tank. I have not set it up yet, as I've not made up my mind what I'm going to do with it. So I can't speak to the effectiveness of the filter or whether or not the light is bright enough to grow live plants. But the design of the filter is consistent with most hang on the back systems, and this tank is small, so I'm very confident it'll work just fine. And the light could easily be replaced if it's not up to par - but again, with an aquarium of this size, it shouldn't take much to keep it lit up. So I suspect both the filter and light will work just fine. It came in very well packaged and protected. If you're looking for a small, desktop style nano tank, I'm not sure you're going to find a better deal than this one. Great value for the money.

This little aquarium can well packaged and is definitely cute and has a clean, modern look. The glass is clear and sturdy, and I really like that the back is painted black glass instead of a sticker—it looks much nicer and won’t peel over time. It comes with a small light and a waterfall filter, which is a nice bonus for a beginner-style setup. The foam pad on the bottom is already attached and helps keep it stable on a tabletop. One thing to be aware of is that there’s no lid or cover at all. Because we have other animals in the house, that’s a bit of a downside for us. Also, you can see the adhesive tape that holds the foam pad to the bottom when looking down into the tank. It’s not a huge deal once decorated, but it was noticeable. We ended up removing the tape and just setting the tank on the foam so it looks cleaner. We’re still deciding how to use it—possibly as a mini greenhouse for seedlings with grow lights instead of a fish tank—but overall, it’s a neat little glass tank. Just keep in mind the lack of a lid when deciding if it’s right for your setup.

This nano aquarium is very well made and the quality is immediately noticeable. The glass is thick and solid for a tank this size, not the thin, fragile glass you often see in smaller setups. The black glass backing looks sleek and clean, and all components arrived intact and functioned exactly as expected. The waterfall filter runs smoothly and the included light does a nice job highlighting plants and hardscape. Once fully cycled, this works beautifully as a nano setup for shrimp, snails, plants, or other appropriate small aquatic life. It feels stable, thoughtfully designed, and worth the higher price compared to budget nano tanks. One important clarification for buyers: while this is absolutely better than the tiny cups bettas are often sold in, this tank is still not an appropriate permanent home for a betta. Bettas should have a minimum of 5 gallons. This tank is best suited for true nano applications, not betta housing. Overall, excellent craftsmanship, great aesthetics, and solid performance—as long as it’s used for the right purpose.

Good value for a small tank with light and circulation equipment included . No top but plexi or acrylic cover can be easily fashioned - unsure if covers this size are readily available. Ordered this as a sick / medicine dosing tank for sick fish and treating fish. We have 2 huge tanks that are expensive to treat - with large aging fish that get issues here and there due to weakness and age related issues mostly - the tanks are not sick or infected - but opportunistic organisms can become issue for compromised fish esp after injury or stress. We have needed a small tank for medicine dosing, and diagnostics for a while really it's easy to ignore it until the next issue - this came up and I decided it was time to act. It's a great kit for starters also good isolation tank for smaller fish and good tank for observing larger fish getting slides and administering oral medicine or doing medicine bathe on single fish for short periods. I'm happy with the tank and setup . Will update some more after further use -

The aquarium was delivered perfectly matching the description and specifications of the advertisement perfectly. The glass is crystal clear and equal to the quality of the glass in my other aquariums costing ten times this Nano Nature unit. The corners are sealed perfectly and the tank is just a joy to look at. The filter functions perfectly and the assembly of the entire system was straight forward as I followed the included directions. The light also attaches simply and securely and functions flawlessly. The waterfall style filter is very pleasant to listen to though not at all distracting or overpowering in its volume. I just am thrilled with this tank overall and I must add that there is real value here at this price point.
