Highly recommend the stand over the wall mount! I was going back and forth on which to purchase and I’m so glad I went with the stand! It’s easy to assemble and definitely high quality. It also has an adjustable head that is very easy to use and get the perfect angle with the camera/monitor. I was nervous it may fall over being so tall but I have ran into it/knocked into it and it does not fall over. With the monitor being on the stand it’s so nice because we can move it where we need it. For example, our baby originally slept in a bassinet in our room so we used it then, once moved to her crib, we set it up next to the crib in her room. She has also fallen asleep on the floor in her room while playing so we have moved the stand closer to be able to feel comfortable leaving her sleeping on the floor. ... show more

Stable, however, a baby could pretty easily knock it over. Fits well in the room but we keep it relatively close to the crib and if my son stands up and tries really hard, he could move it, turn it and then we can’t see him. Stand was easy to assemble. Stand is functional and does work

I originally got the wall mount without thinking about the fact that I wouldn’t be able to put up decor. We are also renting and while I can patch a hole, it’s a lot harder to fix potential paint damage from the stick-on cord cover. I tried buying the popular iTodos brand knockoff from Amazon and it was garbage. Super wobbly and there was nothing to contain the cord so it was definitely a safety hazard once baby could reach it. I finally gave up and bought the Nanit brand and have no regrets. While it still isn’t ideal with the nursery decor (as you can see it still sits over the frame), it’s the best I could do. This stand is a million times sturdier than the knockoff I bought and the cord is contained. I have also heard it’s a lot better than the old, poor-quality Nanit model. If you are wondering, yes, this is the same thing that is sold on the Nanit website for $200. When I bought it here on Amazon, it was less than half that. I have no idea why, but I’ll take it. So if the price makes you wince, watch the price because it does occasionally drop. ... show more
