It comes in two parts, so I use just the smaller half to prop up the baby in a swing or walker. What you're supposed to do is sandwich the baby in between the two halves, using Velcro to hold it all together. The baby is so tiny that the front actually covers her face. Helps baby enjoy toys and exploration before they can fully support themselves. Game changer!! We use it with our Johnny Jump Up, Exersaucer, outdoor swing, and even his high chair when needed. He seems to enjoy how it hugs and supports him. Very grateful!

I bought the Huggapod in hopes that I could put my young baby in a jumper more safely at a younger age than is typical. I also got it for a pull-behind running stroller I have (it's called a Kidrunner). They recommend the baby to be at least six months or older and to be able to sit up and support their head on their own for both those products, although the Kidrunner is based on weight and height of the baby for when they should be in it. My baby is only 3 and half months old, so obviously a little young for these activities. While she can't quite sit up on her own, she has always been able to hold her head up from birth and was born very very large. She loves standing with support for balance any chance she gets, so I know she has some strength. The Kidrunner tilts up a little bit, so she is very slightly reclined sitting. The straps were just too loose for her though on their own... but sandwixhed in the huggapod, viola! She is supported! Her head doesn't wobble while running and is snug in there. My only concern is it's so fuzzy and warm, I will have to be mindful she doesn't get overheated. I would only run in the cool mornings and maybe with a travel AC unit... I can't reccomend doing any of this necessarily because everyone's baby is different, and I felt with my baby this was safe after a few fittings and test runs. I'm sure this would work great for a jumper, I haven't used it for that yet. CONCLUSION: Supportive and does its job. Has several uses. I would DEFINATELY use this in conjunction with a jumper. It's cozy and warm; good for indoors in the cool, but be careful in the sun or outdoor heat! Baby could overheat in the summer. No complaints other than the heat factor, it seems to be built well and can be washed easily. ... show more

We love using this at restaurants in the high chairs. My 5 month old is small born a month early so he doesn't fit well in high chairs or his jolly jumper, or activities center without it. With this he fits comfortably in almost everything. Even the swing at the park. The only thing it doesn't work with is the store shopping cart. But that's okay if you open it and lay it flat I lay him on top of it making the child seat into a bed he lays down on it. But it's not made for that so don't leave your baby unattended if you choose to lay them on it. I actually recommend that you never leave your child unattended while using this very helpful tool.
