I have a corner shower, 40"x40", with a 9 foot ceiling and tile that goes up to 83" from the floor of the shower pan. It's lovely, but a headache to enclose. Glass is not only expensive, but my water is hard enough to give you a concussion during a shower. I basically have to use a shower curtain and for years I had an IKEA ceiling rail with a custom 108" shower curtain. All my finishes are oil rubbed bronze so the aluminum really stuck out, to me. I saw this and wondered where it was 10 years ago. I ordered it, it arrived undamaged and I put it up immediately. The instructions are adequate but it's not rocket science. I threw away the cheap wall mollies they supply and used my own heavy duty anchors, but I couldn't use the ORB screws. I painted the silver screw heads with brown nail polish. I had to trim both lengths of tubing, but it cut easily on my miter saw with a wood blade in it. It's aluminum tube so you could probably use a copper tubing cutter or a hacksaw if that's all you have. You put the cut ends in the brackets so it doesn't have to be perfect. Once up, I installed the ceiling support and hung my still unusually long, but commercially available, 84" shower curtains. Yes, plural. One for each side. The rod is sturdy, doesn't sag and because it's aluminum, it won't rust. It looks great and I'm very happy with it.

The product seems to be high-quality (should be for $300 bucks!!). But it is very irritating that they didn't include two set screws necessary to lock the rods into the wall brackets. I had to hustle around to my local hardware store to purchase two machine screws as a replacement. They don't match color, so I'll have to find touch up paint to match the rods. Definitely wouldn't buy from this company again.

I was able to cut the ends to fit, which is nice since I didn’t want a seam/ridge in a bad place. Used a wider curtain for claw foot tub and gathered curtain at corner where rod attaches from ceiling. 1/3 the curtain hooks to one side. 2/3 on the long side

Product was delivered exactly as advertised, unfortunately my contractor cut one side short. So I contacted Naiture Home store for help. They worked with me to find replacement parts rather than buy a new unit. I finished the install on my own and love the look of the L-shaped curtain rod!
