I've always used white fabric liners and they always start looking icky in the bottom. Can't get it looking clean no matter how I wash it. Decided to try a black liner. The black liner definitely looks more aesthetic than a white liner. But it took a little getting used to because it makes it darker in the shower. It is cleaner looking than the white liner because the dirt that builds up in the bottom of the shower curtain is not visible in the black curtain. Yet to know if calcium deposits will be visible. It did stain my tub a little at first, so I washed the shower curtain in hot water on its own. No more staining since. I now wash the curtain along with my towels. No more problems with color bleeding. Magnets are good. The weight is good. No weird smells. No wrinkles. The material is a little scratchy, but not a deal breaker. ... show more

I've washed it 3 times so far, and it holds up well (I wash it when I wash my sheets every week so it doesn't get that weird orangey stuff at the bottom). This is a nice curtain, substantial and durable. This is the second one we've bought because the first worked so well in the other bathroom. You can throw it right in the washing machine when it gets dirty, and it cleans right up. Our water is hard and tends to stain things, but most of it comes out in the wash, so it stays looking pretty good for a long time.
