So I am usually the type of person that obsessively reads reviews before buying anything on Amazon, but I found this gaming chair that seems to be newly released. The design is exactly what I was looking for in a gaming chair, all-black & sleek, so I bit the bullet and went for it. Honestly, I LOVE it! A couple highlights: 1) The chair was surprisingly easy to assemble. The instructions were pretty well written (and you know how wonky those can get sometimes). I thought I’d need some help but I was able to get it done fairly quickly. One tip is to not tighten ONE bolt all the way and then moving on to the next. 2) Very comfortable and supportive. Love the extra cushions and the way this chair fits me. I didn’t expect it to be so ergonomic, but I felt really comfortable working in it all day and then a couple hours of gaming. No back pain whatsoever. Also you can adjust it to however you like it which is a plus. 3) The chair seems very sturdy and durable, which I like. For the price point, this is an exceptionally well-made chair. 4) The retractable footrest is a godsend when you need a quick nap and you don’t even have the energy to move to your bed while working from home. Or… when you’re in a zoom meeting and your camera is turned off but you have to be on standby just in case they ask you to turn on your camera and speak. Overall, love this chair so far. Great value for the money, well-built and comfy. Not sure about the other colors but the Black one has a nice blend of textures to it which makes it look even better in person. ... show more

The Good: Easy to assemble All levers work flawlessly The pillows are a good extra support for lower back and head It had a great degree of flexibility The Bad: One of the plastic covers mine came with was for the wrong side, so metal is still exposed. (See photos) The chair has a tendency to lean forward (and yes, all instructions were followed to a “T”) I’m 6’2” 270lbs and this chair is not meant for someone my size. The butt cushion is thin and after just 15 minutes I have to stand to take pressure off. There’s also not a lot of room in the chair. Once you sit, that’s exactly where you’ll stay. I could see this chair being perfectly fine for a young kid or just petite people in general, but if your anywhere around 200+ pounds, you won’t be happy. ... show more

Where to start...this took my husband over an hour to assemble and I regretted the purchase immediately. To begin..the shape of the seat doesn't accommodate a woman's hips - even my 15 year old son said it was uncomfortable...so I put a pillow on the seat. After just a few days of sitting in it the chair leans forward and the foot rest/stand though used only once already stripped the screws. Overall this is a piece of junk but I can't imagine how to return it since it's already assembled. Don't buy this chair. ... show more

This chair is decent for under $150. Putting it together wasn’t terribly hard and it takes around 30-45 minutes for layman using the tools provided. If you own your own Allen key set and screw driver, it could take less time. The chair is comfortable enough. It is not very plush and the foot rest is pretty flimsy. I find that your feet have to be up on a separate foot rest or ottoman to be able to get the full recline. It is very ergonomic to my body shape and gives me good support but I couldn’t see myself comfortably sitting in this thing for longer than a couple hours before my butt starts to hurt as there isn’t enough padding there for me. Overall, it functions well, comfort is ok and the operations are pretty smooth. For the money, it’s a good buy. There are obviously way better chairs out there for more money. Edit: after some time having this chair, I’ve decided to get a different one. The footrest broke under tension and the mechanism that allows the chair to pivot back froze up so now it’s very rigid. I would have given 5 Stars but: 1 pre-assembled screw didn't screw completely because I guess it got stripped and stuck. 1 mounting slot for the tilt bolt either was stripped or bad so I couldn't screw the bolt in. The wheels are generic. They're not ball bearing so it doesn't slid easily. The seats it's not comfortable if sat a long period of time. It's not as thick as advertised. The armrests feels cheap. The plastic covers make this item cheap.. Bad design. For the price you get all the features like incline, foot rest, it's OK. I gave it 3 stars because delivery was fast. ... show more

As I write this review I am in the chair, reclined and with my feet on the foot rest.. very comfortable! I did a little research before buying.. I read the reviews on a bunch and though my budget was lower than those other chairs, I think I made a good choice. This is my first "gaming" chair and I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. Delivery date went from a week out to two days! Fast shipping! I couldn't wait to assemble it so I did so on my hour lunch break. Assembly was pretty easy but it did take my full hour and I did it all by myself. It might have gone faster if someone helped me but not a big deal. One tip when assembling though: attach the metal L shape piece to the seat cushion before attaching to the back cushion. I had trouble attaching it to the back cushion first because the seat cushion is wider. Perhaps it works with two people the other way. My boyfriend is just above 6 feet tall, about 220lbs and he didn't *look* comfortable in it, but he said it was. The foot rest was definitely not made for someone of his weight or height I'm pretty sure. I'm a 5'4" woman and it feels great, not sure if people around my boyfriend's weight/height will be totally happy with it though! This was definitely an upgrade to the chair I was using and since working from home will now be part of my everyday life, this was a great purchase. I've only had it a little over a week, so I'm hoping that I feel the same for a long time. One thing I will keep an eye on is the seam by the zipper on the back of the chair. Right now it doesn't bother me, but I'm hoping it doesn't rip further. ... show more
