The media could not be loaded. This is a foaming hand wash called “MyKirei” by Kao, which is a Japanese product. “Kirei” in Japanese stands for beautiful or clean. I was impressed by how green this company seems to be, and how focused they are on sustainability and creating the world we live in a cleaner place. They apparently sell refills for this soap and urge you to re-use the bottle. The packaging it came in was recyclable as well. All you need to do is download an app to get a free shipping label, send in your refill pouch, and voila! Reuse your bottle and reduce plastic waste by 86%. I‘m confused about the refill pouches though- perhaps one came with the bottle?? I may have missed it and threw it away. BUMMER... i will update if I learn more! The bottle is definitey “different.” Watch my video review to see how it works! It looks like there is a giant white cap on top, but in fact this is the dispensing pump. You place your hand over the pump and push down, which is supposed to create a “beautiful foam flower.” It’s hit or miss at creating a flower design, but it does work! It makes me smile each time I wash my hands! My only complaint is that sometimes it leaves a bunch of foam behind in the top. The only way to get rid of that and not have it dry and gunk it up is to rinse it clean, in turn wasting a bunch of product. It seems to work slightly better if you just turn it over and dispense it in your hand, but you won’t get a pretty flower shape. The scent is lovely! Not sure what Yuzu flowers smell like, but this must be it. It’s light, floral, crisp and refreshing. The soap is rich in vitamin C and coconut water, and very gentle on sensitive skin. I love that it‘s safe for all ages, so families will enjoy this. The unique pump dispenser may pose a problem for kiddos though, as they may have too much fun playing with it! But, with a pandemic on our hands (no pun intended) any excuse or “gimmick” that gets everyone to wash their hands more often is OK by this Mama! Long story short, this is a beautifully scented and gentle hand wash with a unique and fun pump design. It’s a bit bulky and awkward, but interesting nonetheless. I’m not sure $18 for hand wash is something I would lean towards often, but I love the idea of being able to refill this bottle (if the process was a bit more clear). I will admit I first saw this soap on Tik Tok and thought that it would be a nice soap to try since I do seem to be washing my hands all the time these days. I was so excited when I received it to give it a try really just to see the pretty foam flower. I was very pleasantly surprised when I pushed down (twice) to get the foam to come out and not only is the flower cute but the foam is thick and luxurious and makes your hands feel totally moisturized after you wash them. The smell is very pretty and not overpowering at all. My teenager loves it too and is now finally washing her hands more like she was supposed to. I bought them for every bathroom in the house as well as the kitchen. The fact that it's really hands free is also a real plus in this time of being extra sanitary. I almost don't want to recommend it so they don't run out of stock!

This product isn’t just cute!!! It smells amazing. It’s not to Pungent. But just enough to make your hands clean and smell beautiful! These product has helped me wash my hands more!!! Same with my nieces and nephews. It’s so fun to use. I don’t think it will ever get old! I bought four refills with it. Guys this products is a absolute must! It’s safe on my sensitive skin. I have chronic dermatitis and this hasn’t caused my hands to dry out horribly or itch! The feeling of the foam is fantastic! And my hands feel so clean! I can’t stop using it already!

First, I have never seen a product packaged so safely and effectively! It was perfectly fitted inside a specially designed cardboard box just for the soap. It also had a stopper so no product would leak during shipping. Someone thought this through! I never would have thought that washing my hands as an adult could be so much fun! Pumping a flower onto my hands is so whimsical! I consider this soap a treat, though. It is quite pricey. Also, you don't get your hands wet first, and you put your palm face down on the pump and push down. The foam squirts onto your palm from below. I love the concept of the flower, but hope a future design of the bottle will have a more traditional pump that still makes a flower. I anticipate the flower pump on top of the bottle will eventually get dirty and dusty and have to be wiped out. However, to experience a Japanese soap, even if it is exclusively sold by Amazon, was a neat experience. The yuzu scent is mild and lovely. The soap isn’t moisturizing, but isn’t super drying. I consider it too pricey for an entire family, so I’m not going to let my kids use it exclusively. But this soap is definitely fun for self-care and I will purchase the refill. This would make a unique and charming housewarming gift!

This soap is good but it tends to dry out your hands if you use it frequently. During a pandemic, when hand washing is now almost constant, dry/cracked/bleeding hands are a reality. As much as I hoped this would be like other Japanese soaps that moisturize, it doesn’t. Scent is great, my kids love the little flower shape, and it washes away clean, but I likely won’t purchase again. Bummer.
