Purchased ink, off brand, it worked great, same as epson ink units. Then epson sent a patch thru that killed these non epson cartridges. Then they sent out updated terms that I have not signed making us unable to persue a class action against them for any reason. Then Epson made all of the workforce units sold after this come with a statement saying it is designed to work only with Epson ink cartridges no others will work. So if you bought a business class Epson printer workforce series. You MUST BUY Epson ink to print. The little electronic board tells it it’s Epson or not. And it shuts down and won’t print with anything other than Epson. That’s like buying a Chevy and being forced to use only Gulf gas and the car shutting off if you didn’t buy gulf gas. Epson is screwing us all because of corporate greed.

Ive bought 3 different off brand versions of my Epson 812 inks on amazon, this is by far the best most lasting. I needed tp print over 1000 pages and still have yet to run out!

I can't review on the quality of ink itself, because I only used the chips. I used a WF7820 for sublimation but since the printer uses the ink cartridge chips I needed to find a more economical way to print with this printer. I pull the chips off these cartridges and put them on the refillable cartridges I use for the sublimattion ink in the printer. Worked like a charm, no issues reading the chips. 6 months later my printer is telling me the ink is getting low based on the chips so I'm back to buy another set.

I have no issue with the cartridges. I would have bought them again, they have seem to work fine, but yesterday I absentmindedly did the firmware update to CD29OB on my WF-7840 and it bricked all my cartridges! So these cartridges will work fine IF you have not done the latest firmware update. I will NEVER buy and Epson printer again.
