The only complaint I have is the touchscreen has to be pressed harder. Everything else fits and works great. Previously I have only purchased Lifeproof cases and after a while they crack and break. Arrived on time and packaged well.

So to start it may be an unfair review as I had a Lifeproof on an old Iphone 8 Plus, which ran its course and replaced it with this due to the price. First off it came next day and the color was as advertised. On the surface it seemed rugged but once I took it apart to put the phone in I noticed little things that made me doubt that. It does have a hard rubberized shell that may take some beating. The plastic screen protector and thumb button area is a lot more flimsy than my old protector. Also no internal protection like a rubber O ring or other protection. That is important to note, as the phone has some play room in the housing overall. When I first put the phone in and the case back together the buttons did not line up and I had to bump the sides a bit to get the phone in the right place. Also unlike my last case, the back is open where the camera area is. The advertisement never noted it was waterproof and with the open back, no O rings, and side flaps it definitely is not if that is important to you. Additionally I really hate that to get to the silence button you have to open a flap and try to reach in with you nail or a pen to move it up or down. As my phone is old and nearing end of life, this is fine for the time being but when I replace it will definitely go back to a Lifeproof. ... show more
