I'm only 2 days in so I can't speak to the longevity. It's a solid chair. I did a lot of research and like how the back is 3" higher than most so I can rest my head. I was considering the higher priced highly marketed brand before this and I can't compare first hand but this one is 2 lbs heavier with similar dimensions. The major difference is the exposed screws and I don't mind because it's not worth the premium price of the other brand to me to have them hidden. If they are high quality stainless steel, there should not be any worry of rust. I also bought the folding ottomans and they are a nice addition...really adds to the comfort. I hope they last a long time against the hot FL sun. ... show more

Our last Adirondack chairs literally fell apart after two years. These were easy to assemble and the materials used are smooth! No splinters with these beauties! They are also super comfortable and the cup holders are great!
