The instructions were very straightforward when we assembled this cat tree. It took us about an hour to put together if I remember correctly. My cats love it- I have two. The big one (and I mean big) sleeps in the big platform on top, and my smaller one in the smaller platform lol! They don't play with the dangly balls, but your cats may like them. My cats race up this tree like it's Mt. Everest! It's VERY sturdy, but also comes with straps to anchor it to the wall if you're worried about it toppling over, or if you have adventurous toddlers. My cats are avid scratchers and have scratched straight through the rope and have put a hole in the post on the bottom left of the tree, but they do that with every tree. You could easily get new rope to cover the post if you have this experience before a hole appears, but eh, I'm lazy so I didn't. The bottom line is that this tree was very affordable for its size and so very well made. It's so sturdy, and my cats love it. My big cat is like 20lbs- and no, he's not fat, he just has a very large build. It's a fantastic size to support him, he fits in the cubbies well. I recommend this tree, especially if you have a big cat like me!

The media could not be loaded. For our cats, this is a great cat tower. Our old one lasted 3 years, but was getting worn down. So I was pretty picky. My requirements were: 1. Find a tower that was FUN as well as a place for Watson and Daisy to relax 2. The pedestals had to be large enough for large, adult cats, AND they had to be supported by more than one support leg (our last tower was wobbly after a year of use) . 3. The condos had to be large and big enough for the cats to hang out and not feel claustrophobic. 4. It had to have a large enough base to support the entire tower. 5. It had to have plenty of thistle rope for our cats' claws. --- It was hard to find a tower that checked all the boxes, but this one does! I actually had ordered a DIFFERENT BRAND at first. When it arrived and I saw how small the pedestals were and how small the condos were, I took it back to the Amazon return center. HOWEVER WHEN THIS ONE ARRIVED, I COULD IMMEDIATELY SEE THE QUALITY WAS BETTER AND THE SIZE WAS RIGHT!! No tower is perfect, but like I said this one checks the boxes for our cats and for us. They were playing in it before we had it built! The instructions were easy. It feels solid and stable. All the condos have a hole to climb through to move up to the next level. And they all have an arched opening as well. My cats love to climb through, under, over.. all of the above! One upper pedestal is supported by 2 legs, and the other larger one is supported by 4 legs. This is important if you don't want them to become wobbly. I believe this will be much more stable than our old one. Watson is our Tuxedo and he is 15 pounds. Daisy is our 1 year old kitten and weighs 9 pounds. It is more than stable and they haven't knocked it over. I did not use the safety bracket since I placed it in front of a window in our living room/dining room area. It seems fine so far without it. Some preferences I would have liked.. I wish the support legs were covered more with thistle rope and not as much of the material. And our cats don't really use the side basket. I don't think they feel completely secure in it. But that is just our cat's personality and others might love that feature. I have to also mention, all of the parts went together easily. My daughter and I put it together in about 1.5 hours. Team work makes the dream work! Overall, we are pleased, our cats have a great new place to hang out, and I feel it will last as long if not longer than our previous tower. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! More importantly, OUR CATS WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I'm giving this cat tower 5 stars!

Too long time to put together but they're HUGE and sturdy and my cats love this. They have almost a jungle inside the room near a window now to play more. Very sturdy. Nice soft and great deal for the product. I bought less expensive ones and they barely lasted 1.5 years. They're in other areas of the house now, but are falling apart and looking dingy.

Here are some noted features, not specifically good or bad: - The cubbies do not have solid walls. Just the top and bottom of the cubbies are solid. The side walls are fabric. This affected our cat a bit because on his old cat tree he was able to just throw his body anywhere on the tree and climb up the sides like Spider-Man. With this tree, he has to go up using the intended ledges. He has already adjusted to this. -The material is not carpet. It's fabric. For us, this is a benefit. I do believe it will be far easier to remove fur. -The two top tier beds are very close together. It seemed very awkward for our cat to go in between them to get to a top level. So, per the photos, we removed the two poles holding up the shorter top tier. We put the smaller bed directly on the platform and screwed it in. We only have one cat, so they're is no fight for the top tier. - The focus of this cat tree seems to be height. If you have an athletic cat, definitely use the wall strap. -The round hammock is sturdy and good size.. Our cat is slightly under 11 lb and he has plenty of room in the hammock. (We bought a prior cat tree and the hammock was useless.) - The tree was easy to put together. The instructions made sense. There were no hardware issues.

It took me weeks to be able to research, plan, and make a decision on a new cat tree. My cats liked their old one with the perches they were spilling out over. I took a gamble on this one after studying the measurements very well in consideration for my cats sizes. This came in a box that was damaged at the side but the pieces were so well secured that it didn't affect the contents. The ease of putting this together made it fun to build! My cats played in the sections while I was adding to them building up and up again. The holes in the condo sections line up perfectly that they can run through each in a loop. I have had up to 5 at a time on here with zero fear of toppling over. It comes with a strap to secure it to the wall but in my situation it's not against a wall and I'm not worried at all in the slightest of falling. I have some cats sleep on this all day long and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase! My large grown cats no longer spill out over on the sleeping perches! It's well built and very sturdy and has brought joy to this house of rescues. Thank you for a product that is truly exactly what was described plus more! =^..^=
