I've been looking for a solid watch to replace my Obaku (Denmark) watch which I loved (probably a little too much for a watch). After searching around for a fashionable yet not overly expensive watch I stumbled upon a crowd funding watch named MVMT. I really liked the concept and the look of the watch, but I was still dubious about a 'crowd funded' watch, so I head off. Fast forward and after a successful crowd funding campaign and customers wearing them in the wild, I thought I'd take another look and found it too hard to resist. So I jumped in an ordered the 'Black Face with Black Leather Strap' and being a prime customer it appeared promptly in a couple of days. -- Case -- The watch itself comes in a pretty cool case that has a largish zipper around the case (kind-of like a wetsuit zipper) which gives it a more urban and youthful feel. -- Watch -- I must admit one of the things that concerned me the most before purchasing this watch, was the face's size, was it going to be too big! Now I don't have the biggest wrist in the world and now after wearing it, I have to say that the watch face isn't too big nor too heavy and looks amazing and really does grab peoples attention. Though one thing here to take note of is, that the face being large does tend to get smudges over it but those are easily removed. The time markers and hands are easy to see in the light, but without any light source you won't be really be able to see much at all. I haven't found this to be an issue yet as I am hardly checking the time in the pitch dark of the wilderness - but if you do, you may wish to look for something with a little more luminescence. The band is a relaxed leather not stiff at all, and formed pretty easily to my wrist which is more rectangular than round. The time piece itself keeps good time (so far - I have only had it for a little over a week) and it's actually quite easy to tell the time with, no issue with having no numbers written on the face. The date feature is a pretty standard 'just the day of the month' showing, but if you aren't sure what month it currently is, you might have more things to worry about. Overall, for the price you get a pretty awesome watch that works well, looks great as a casual or formal watch and is sure to have at least one of your friends asking where you got it from.

I've been wearing this watch since the weekend, and I have to say that I absolutely love it. It can be worn casually or formally, because it goes with just about anything, and it looks great in any situation. I'm a bigger guy, so I was curious as to how it would fit before possibly having to insert one of the extra adjustable pins to resize the watch. I didn't have to mess with that at all, and it fits perfectly/feels great. I've seen a couple other reviews for this watch on here mentioning that the hands and numbers aren't black like in the description photos, but silver. This actually isn't the case. The hands and numbers indeed are black, but they are a very shiny black, so if light hits them a certain way they appear silver. I was a little worried about this at first because part of the watch's appeal to me was the flat black set against the red of the seconds hand and logo. When I realized that the black was just overly shiny, my worries faded. For $100, this is a GREAT watch to wear in all occasions. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks MVMT!

This is a Christmas gift for our college age son. He absolutely loves it. Simple, yet elegant watch face and nice metal band. The watch has some heft and feels substantial. There were not any directions on how to remove the links, but we were able to find a YouTube video on how to remove links. We had a rubber mallet and a metal olive pick that we used to tap out the pins. When placing a pin to reconnect two links together, make sure you are inserting the pin the right way. If it is inserted with the narrow part first, then it is a simple tap, tap and the pin slides in. If the pin doesn't slide in with a couple of light taps, then you may have put the larger side of the pin first. Very handsome watch for the price. The rose gold accents are perfect on the black watch face.

Beautiful crafted watch. It worked, was presented well, and had care instructions as well. I actually returned it because I didn’t realize how large it would look on my man’s wrist. He’s not typically a watch guy but he had mentioned it so I bought his go-to colors (red and black). He’s 5’11” and 150 lbs. He complains he’s a musician and has small wrists 😂 so we will try again, but this watch is stunning and he loved the style/colors! The box did come a little banged up though.

I received this watch a couple of days ago as a gift from a very dear friend of mine. I had already mentioned that I thought the simplicity of this watch is so beautiful and the next thing you know I am receiving it as a gift! I absolutely love this watch. it feels great on the wrist. So comfy and light that you forget you are wearing a watch. I already got a few compliments on how bold and nice it is. Everything about this watch from the packing to the subtle quiet colors to the nice clean and plain dial screams elegance. Even the bands come with branding from the inside. That shows commitment as far as I know, and I respect a company who is willing to go the extra mile with branding. I have made sure I also take a few photos of the branding on the inside of the watch for your viewing pleasure. Great watch by a great company who pays attention to the smallest details.

I am very happy with this watch and the service I have received from the seller. I purchased this watch and received a defective one, it looked great but it was slow and didn't keep the proper time. I reached out to the seller and was able to return the watch for a full refund with no questions asked. Seller provided a shipping label for my return, all I had to pay was $2.00 for a padded shipping envelope. I ordered a new one with the refund and it works perfectly, I liked this watch enough to even buy another with a brown band. The leather bands are soft and very comfortable. They do fade a bit if you take care of your watches, like I do, you shouldn't have any problems with discoloration. If you are hard on your watches, buy a Walmart watch.
